so far ... so good.

Which tariff have you changed to Penny?0

Talking of cash back deals has anyone bought from Chatterbox.com.
Have a great cash back deal:
Nokia 3100
100xnet
100 texts
with cash back £7.99 per month plus second line and phone for £3.99 per month (same tarriff) and free digital camera.
Tarriff Orange. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
morning all;Luci i thought that we could only change tariff after 4 months connection.my bark is worse than my bite!!!!!!!!0

you're right !!.
Like all these deals you have to be so careful with the detail.
You get the cashback after 3 months ... but that means your 4th bill... and then you mustn't change tariff until after 4 months of useage .
i got my first cashback the other day but i need the bill due next week before i change tariff .... presumably down on to the "data tariff" at £10 month until the end of 12 months .
I don't need anything differrent .... we use a forwardcellular 99p t mobile sim card which gave us 750 minutes a month to landlines off peak and weekends ... this has to be the craziest phone deal ever !!.
To replace the 400 mins x net i think we'll go for the forwardcellular deal for £99.99 with ....t mobile 290 mins any network any time + 50 texts per month that comes with nokia 3100 (worth £70+ on ebay) . No need to reduce /change tariffs during the year ... it runs for 12 months.
chatterbox .... not as good a deal .......have 200 mins xnet vodafone sim card for £60
and of course without proof and persuasion i'm keeping away from the mercurymobile offer .0 -
Back to the discussion of the 3rd bill/4th bill, my original documents from OSPS seem quite clear:
"...you are able to claim cashback after 3 months of being connected.... copy the first 2 pages of your most recent airtime invoice and attach this to the gift redemption certificate".
My connection date was 24/02, but my billing date is the 10th of each month. On 24/05 I've been connected for 3 months and hence will send them my latest bill which is dated 10th of May and is therefore my 3rd bill, not my 4th.
Correct me if I'm wrong?
Of course if your billing date is very soon after your connection date then you might as well wait for your 4th bill to send, just to be sure. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
you're probably right. Think my dates may be very similar to yours.
i thought i'd sent the right bill at the right time but they returned my claim a couple of weeks ago saying i needed the next bill .. which came couple of days later .
Sent that in last week and got cheque this week.0 -
Always ring OSPS before you send off the claim. Get the name of the person you spoke to and quote them in a covering letter you send to them requesting your cashback.

The way they explained it to me is that your 3rd bill has to be dated (the date they put on the top) 3 months after the date you were first connected. IE connected 21 Jan 04 - bill has to be 22 April or later. This means that those with a bill date that does not coincide with the date they were connected will have to pay slightly more - but hell it is still a good deal - so far!
