Who's still waiting for their OSPS cashback?"

I had no problem claiming my cashback after the 4 months - the bill i sent was the ' end of April bill'. I take it that means i need to send the 'end of june bill' for the six month claim? Is that correct? Is any one further forward ?
Thanks
( BTW, what is stopping us cancelling the monthly tariff after we receive the second cashback?)0 -
the cashback claim vouchers i had from OSPS are for months 6 and 12 so what is month 4 cashback you are talking about?i guess it is for networks other than 3g :-[0

yes this was an orange offer that we took out 2 cash backs i at 4 month other at 6 months ,
on the back of the form for cashbacks it states 12 months contract applies.
and also that we should ring them before we downgrade is that necc;?my bark is worse than my bite!!!!!!!!0 -
Terrier, the reason you have to ring OSPS before changing, as I see it, is to ensure that you do not change down too early - i.e until after the 4 month point and stay with the company - in your case orange till after the 12 month point. If you dont comply you will not get your cashback and OSPS will not get their kickback from orange.

i did ring orange and osps who confirmed that my change date was as I thought 24th as connected on 23 so should be ok, she did enter details onto computer as she took post code etc.my bark is worse than my bite!!!!!!!!0

Once you have confirmed that date you are allowed to change move quickly as the phone company normally needs a few days notice.

My connection date was 11 Feb and my billing date is the 3rd of the month. Going by previous posts I thought I should send my 4th bill, dated 3 June to claim my cashback. This arrived while I was on holiday (just back) so I called today to check I would be sending the correct paperwork to be told I'm too late! They said the 45 days are up today and it should have been with them yesterday.
I asked if I could speak to a manager to be told I was talking to a manager and there was nothing they could do. After I got over the initial shock and upset, I realised that, with my billing date being 23 days after connection date, plus the time it took to be delivered and being away for 2 weeks, this has been a very expensive holiday as I couldn't get it to them in time.
I also asked them when I could change tariff and was "advised" that I shouldn't change tariff before the next cashback is due or I wouldn't get that either.
I am obviously upset by this, but thought I would post it as a warning to others.0
