Kavics my MIL is Dutch and I thought it was perfect as my Dutch is limited so I couldnt spoil her impression of me as a nice Daughter in law ;) However last week DH was musing that its a shame we can't get to know each other better and be able to chat when the baba arrives (After 8 years!), so I pointed out that I couldn't ruin her good impression of me, and that we never clash (mostly just smile and nod)... to which he said "She thinks you are messy and disorganised!" Bloomin cheek! When 8 of them normally arrive en-masse all I do is cook, clear and clean for the entire flipping visit!

The postive outcome is that I have a cleaner comming to do a deep clean tomorrow, and in a couple of week a top up before they arrive (The flybaby in me is screaming with outrage, but with pre-eclamsia and enforced bed rest means I really am not allowed to do house work!)

All I learned in Dutch (DS1's dad is South African remember and speak Africaans and English) was enough to say to his Great Grandmother "Here is your greatgrandson DS1 Oma!" then handed him to her for the duration.

She didn't let anyone else near him - just sat and smiled and cuddled and ordered her D-I-L's to bring her a drink, or food or whatever as she was busy loving her grandson.

She died not long after DS2's second trip out there for his seventh Birthday - and although they had not one word in common he treated her like a Queen the whole day.

Thats a genius idea - anyone know anyone who heads up a marketing dept that I could talk to about feasabilty?

I'm an alumni of a local college that does a course in TV and Radio production and I'm thinking of approaching them to do the mini-courses. Very MSE - you work on my project I will train your students for free.

And Claire - if you can find me a Welsh Teacher I will write a Welsh version of the course.

I can find a welsh teacher ds1 and 2 school is full of them lol, you just need to let me know what you need.

MG was your friend going to do the "selling" bit or admin. ? If admin., I would be happy to help. Never done sales sorry, so wouldn't know were to start.

What I've discoverred is that am brilliant at finding little niches and designing the right product to slot in there. Like the Language courses - that started off being a Mind Map to help a friends kid and grew arms and legs.

I need someone to help me build around my creative developments a proper business - so someone who can take what is developped for the niches and deliver them to market.

Someone who can juggle the web stuff, the sales pipleline and connecting the dots - its a challenge right enough.

The sauce instead of the bolognaise bit, I don't fancy chicken and bacon in bolognaise.

I have had 15 mins de cluttering then took some photos but the batteries in the camera died so on charge will try again in a bit.

Are you wanting to use the cup a soup mix instead of the bolognaise sauce or instead of the white sauce? I'm all for experimentation and short cuts but I don't think it sounds too good.
If it is instead of the bolognaise you could make a basic sauce by frying an onion and some bacon and the chicken, then taking the chicken out and adding some flour to thicken it and stirring in a some stock made from a chicken stock cube. Add whatever herbs you have in the cupboard or bits of veg to liven things up (red pepper or mushrooms or sweetcorn all leap to mind). If you want a creamy sauce, add milk instead of stock or if you have some white wine throw a dash of that in.
    White sauce for pouring

    1.5 oz buter
    1.5 oz plain four
    1 pint milk
    Salt and pepper to taste

Sorry guys but my recipe memory system uses "old weights" LOL

Melt butter in a bowl in the microwave (or pan if OS)
Add flour and beat until smooth
Add milk a little at a time until all incorporated

then either nuke on high for 4 mins, whisking well every minute - or bring to the boil in a pan and cook for 2-3 minutes stiring gently all the time.

I do this in the micro because there is no risk of the sauce sticking or scorching - was taught this trick by a Chef at the Ritz btw:D

For a thicker "coating sauce" use 2oz each of butter and flour and follow the same method.

............... and yes before you ask :rotfl::rotfl: If I'm ever asked to be on Mastermid my specialist subject will be "recipes and methods contained inthe Bero cookbook":D

Ok so If I do both using the recipe Then I got the sauce??
