To whoever bought a Dyson on Ebay... you probably know, but Dyson do a in-house service for either £60 or £90-ish (can't remember) and come and restore the machine. Like new case, motor, brushes, shiny bits, tubes and everything needed or even just tired. It is then practically a new machine. It's a bit of a PR thing and subsidised to hell and back by Dyson. A friend had hers done last month and is chuffed to bits. We had ours done about five years ago and the bloke left a pile of filters and new tools and stuff. Good plan.

I would love to learn Welsh as both my boys are fluent welsh speakers.

I think it is a good Idea to film them yes and charge a rate for them to be downloaded, that way your earning without going anywhere,

*wonders If I could do that for jewellery making *

Maybe you could sell little diy self kits which then have a video of you making the stuff up for them to copy etc.

QUOTE :What do you guys think about me getting these little short courses filmed instead - do you think parents would be interested?: QUOTE

OH absoulutley MG, My poor DD is getting left behind in school and I'm trying to research different ways to teach her, including using your book MG:o

Yesterday she came home in tears after her teacher told her she needs to work quicker as shes getting left behind, but if she doesnt understand how is she supposed to keep up?

So I've come to the conclusion that if the school doesn't have the time or the facilaties to make sure she is learning then I'm going to have to all that I can to help her and teach her using techniques that is more suited to her. At the moment it seems like a big hill to climb, but I wont fail her like the school seems to be.

MG - sorry to hear your news but glad for your friend.

So you need to replace your friend...

No I don't - shes still my friend - Oh yes :rotfl: I get what you mean.

    Just thinking out loud here...

What about a university class doing Marketing (preferably final year as they will be hoping to establish future links). I'm talking using the whole class here - maybe as a practical part of their coursework. Their need for extra pennies (commission) may produce a lot of effort on their part.

    Just thoughts...

Thats a genius idea - anyone know anyone who heads up a marketing dept that I could talk to about feasabilty?

I'm an alumni of a local college that does a course in TV and Radio production and I'm thinking of approaching them to do the mini-courses. Very MSE - you work on my project I will train your students for free.

And Claire - if you can find me a Welsh Teacher I will write a Welsh version of the course.

MG if you do one of these for (Scottish) Gaelic I may well be interested - have tried and failed miserably to teach myself so far. I understand the odd words now mind you which is a start I guess!
