Hope that the news remains good on Monday and that things move forward for you MG.

JC congrats on the second interview - now you will have to decide which outfit to wear again :)

Fantasia - erm could I be cheeky - one of my 50 day challenges is to read a self improvement book/learning book - erm would you mind awfully sharing your ebook? I would be ever so grateful (have I grovelled enough?:))

  • Evening all!!

I have had a tremendous week of collecting so far. And would honestly like to thank each individual who has helped me so far!

My plea has been featured in two weeks of our national online newsletter. I work for the NHS Business Services Authority, based in Newcastle upon Tyne and we have sites all over the UK.

I am also bumping my request on our intranet classifieds ads page on a weekly basis.

I am going to stick up posters tomorrow all over the place.

Everyone has been so so generous, my pals and my facebook friends have been unbelievable and work colleagues, many whom I have never met, have donated so far:

Football shirts: 183!!!! Shorts 72 pairs; socks 29 pairs; boots 12; other items 18!!

I am going to really play for tons more over the next 11 days as I have given a decent cut off time to allow me to package, label and organise a day off work to drive to the central collecting point. Hopefully accompanied by my sister!

This has also been posted on the Matrix forum, but I don't know if the Facebook page is still being updated as I appear to have the most messages on there and don't want to look like I am showing off by being the only person updating!!!

Well, I have worked a bit hard tonight and am now going to chill! Counting football shirts is tiring work!!

Hope everyone's okay and still surfing on the wave of positive mental attitude!!!

    Good night all

  • MG - brilliant news!! :D

    JC - Brilliant news!!!!!!!! :D:D

Done all the Avon stuff I wanted to do tonight, plus have remembered to add a couple of bits to my order for promotion. Had chats with several customers on my "patch" too who confirmed that they are all a biut edgy about ordering after being mucked about by previous people. Once I get their confidence I think it will be a good area to have.

Had a few spare minutes before heading out this morning so took the chance to start on the clothing decluttering - the knicker drawer got attacked! Several perfectly nice, but too small pairs have gone the way of the bin, and as I come across (shut your eyes Mike!) saggy greying elderly ones they are going to go as well. If I don't feel happy to hang them outside to dry they have no place in my drawer! :rotfl:

Now going to use the final 30 minutes before I get ready to go to bed to *hopefully* finish the logo for my business, and maybe even produce the invoice for the people I'm working for at the moment.

  • URGENT REQUEST FOR A KIT COLLECTION IN STOWMARKET SUFFOLK

I have emailed one person who said they could cover some parts of suffolk to see if she can do it and I realise it is probably a bit far for our Norwich based lady.

So if there is anyone near Stowmarket we need 14 kits collecting or else they are going elsewhere. Get in touch asap if you can help.

    DTxx

Thank you this has now been sorted

    Hi Everyone

This has now been collected :T

I will count up tomorrow and put the totals up on Facebook and on The Matrix forum, but at first look it's a full team of ladies kit :)

There has been so much happening on here it has taken me ages to catch up today!
Positive thoughts to those who need them :A

I spent yesterday doing the first of many parts to one of my challenges :)

My friend turned up at my house with "stand-by Tickets" for Bon Jovi's one night only on ITV, and train tickets to London :)

sadly we didn't make it into see the show, but we decided to go and see Legally Blonde at the Savoy Theatre instead...and she paid :T

but we were promised priority tickets for another show :)

So that was definately a "one thing to do each week just for fun" :rotfl:
