Morning all - loving the happy song suggestions and the amazing train ticket hunt!

I need to give some serious thought as to what I'm going to aim at for my 50 day challenge - lots of things I want to do but need to pin it down properly!

DT I don't think I've got any photos of when I was really big. I didn't even dare go on the scales until I'd gone down quite a few dress sizes. So I know what it's like.

Well done on the Reading FC shirts.

Currently researching stores with personal shoppers for my London trip in November, don't know which to try really, anyone have any ideas:

Wardrobe (HERE) also ofer a personal service in London - I can't find their prices anywhere but they don't seem outrageous on ebay so there's a chance you may be able to afford brand new :rotfl:.

I love the 'smart casual' stuff on their site.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Yesterday someone pointed us in the direction of a you-tube "I am what I am" - it was BRILLIANT and cheered me up. :D

I saved the download for Popeye, and last night for various reasons we were both a bit grumpy - and then I remembered and showed him.

    Result :D:D
(he's taking me out for supper tonight :D:D )

    It's my FAVE musical :D

    Wasn't Popeye's version 'I yam what I yam'?

First thing will be to ask the universe for a copy of The Secret I think - my natural scepticism is now giving way to curiosity!

I've just been browsing everybodys profile in the Matrix forum.
Wow, what a brilliant mix of people and skills.
Did notice though that actual qualification wise, mine is a little bit lacking ( have got loads of life skills blah blah). Perhaps this is something I should explore a little further for my 50 day challenge.
Gaining a professional qualificaton I mean.
After I walked away from the call centre, I had this inkling that I could work for a charity directly instead of through a bridging agency. and the lovely development director gave me the number of someone who headhunts staff but didnt have the confidence to phone. I am sooooo my own worst enemy sometimes.
And I have asked the universe to source a copy of the Secret too, I have to read this.

    Morning Everybody.
Lazy me still in pj's with a coffee lol. Day off (thats my excuse lol).
Amazing about Reading football shirts, what a boost.
I had this dream last night, it was a little looking down and seeing stuff, but I woke up this morning, and thought with total clarity 'that was about the Matrix'.
in this dream there were groups of women all over the country, empowered, passionate, helping each other, go-giving instead of go-getting, and there was a huge building at the end of it with a large letter M. and the word 'Vision'.
I dont usually remember my dreams, just wake up and know I've dreamt something.
Perhaps i just have a vivid imagination lol

:eek::eek: Do you realise I have been up most of the night pulling together a plan of how we can do exacty that????

Mnd you I did send most of yesterday out of it so I have some productive time to catch up on.

A nice website to look at. But I don't like the lack of prices. Some nice things, but not quite me, I think I probably need one of the big department stores with lots of ranges to chose from.

Well it had to happen eventually my dears - had my knuckles rapped for dicussing too much "business stuff" on the thread, so from here on in all stuff to do with business should be taken to the other forum I think.

Its hard when the launch of a new business is the consuming thing in your world - but I will try to remember the rules.

Look at the time 11.30 - and already my world has been tumbled upside down, I've had my panic and I've come out fighting again.

I've seen the times when the news like I had this morning would have sent me into a tailspin that I wouldn't be able to climb out of for days - so "most of the morning" is not too bad is it?

Basically it looks the the HT is working towards NOT opening the school that my boys attend after Christmas. The board has "cheesed" off most of the parents and the repeated requests not to have her husband around the visiting parents has resulted in total recruitment in the last 8 weeks of 1 child. (thats out of a total of 12 children and the common reason seems to be - love the school, but who is the weird guy???)

Of course I can't recommend the school to my contacts for exactly the same reason (if you remember me posting the story earlier), so my choices are either:

    1. Take DS and home-school (not practical if I'm back working)

    2. Take DS and put him in one of the local primary schools.

    3. Relocate to where there is a Montessor School - London or Sweden?

    4. Take the bull by the horns, acquire the school, keep the teachers, remove the HT husband from the equation and make sure that our conversion rate is better than 8%. Which would certaily take care of my next 50 day challenge - :rotfl::rotfl:

Al of this whilst building my own business - so I think it would eventually come down to finding the right people to do it.

    What's your thoughts??

    MG

PS on the good news side the local dental hospital has agreed to fit veneers on my four front teeth (trainee dentists) FOR FREE!!!! - so should have a gorgeous smile to go with my new look wardrobe soon.
