OK I need help from experienced train travellers as I can't remember the last time I was on a train as I always drive.

I am wanting to travel from Bangor(Gwynedd) to Glasgow (Central I think) and back again Friday Dec 3rd going I gather there is a train at 1602 and returning Sunday evening Dec 5th what is the cheapest way to book my tickets? I can see £78 return can anyone do any better?

I am going shopping with Souk :j:beer::T

Can you lot slow down!!!!! [STRIKE]I had to pick up on this one. I once went to Edinburgh via Glasgow from Runcorn (think the train originated in Crewe) - got first class single for £!0 via trainline. Try the Trainline.com although there are other sites I think you would be travelling westcoast and virgin so the trainline usually comes up the cheapest.[/STRIKE] Oooo lucky you meeting Souk

I don't do photos had a horrible shock last week when I started at the clinic they took a frontal and a sideways on shot and I hadn't seen them before they are terrible now I know why I don't do photos and that was in my new clothes that I thought looked OK:eek:

DT - That must have been an awful experience - I normally don't do photos much either. Maybe they just didn't know how to take good photos, there is a skill to it.

Capsule wardrobe progressing here, went down to breakfast and caught a glimpse of my trousers  They looked awful, they'd gone really saggy, definitely not flattering - now in the bin :D

One of the first rules of the capsule wardrobe, if it doesn't look good, it goes asap :D

Below is a copy of an email I have just had from the contact for Reading FC

Collection has been arranged, thanks. Is it OK if Reading FC gets the local press involved?

I have replied if they must :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Seriously that's great news maybe we will get some more :j:j:j

DT I don't think I've got any photos of when I was really big. I didn't even dare go on the scales until I'd gone down quite a few dress sizes. So I know what it's like.

Well done on the Reading FC shirts.

Currently researching stores with personal shoppers for my London trip in November, don't know which to try really, anyone have any ideas:

I liked the BBC medley version of 'Perfect Day'.

That was the third song played at our wedding reception - always makes me smile when I hear it too! :D

Great news on Reading FC wanted the press involved.

I think that the first stage of my capsule wardrobe needs to be getting the trousers I am wearing (which are really nice, hang beautifully and good quality) shortened before I tread through the hems completely. They were about the right length when I got them....possibly slightly long, but now I've lost a little bit of weight they are floor-dragging! I ought to go through the wardrobe and work out if I have anything else in there that needs altering as well I suppose. Some things Mum & I can do between us on the sewing machine, but trousers I have to admit to getting done professionally.

I need to start putting together a plan for this challenge! Darn you lot for booting me into it! First thing will be to ask the universe for a copy of The Secret I think - my natural scepticism is now giving way to curiosity!

    Morning Everybody.
Lazy me still in pj's with a coffee lol. Day off (thats my excuse lol).
Amazing about Reading football shirts, what a boost.
I had this dream last night, it was a little looking down and seeing stuff, but I woke up this morning, and thought with total clarity 'that was about the Matrix'.
in this dream there were groups of women all over the country, empowered, passionate, helping each other, go-giving instead of go-getting, and there was a huge building at the end of it with a large letter M. and the word 'Vision'.
I dont usually remember my dreams, just wake up and know I've dreamt something.
Perhaps i just have a vivid imagination lol

Trousers are on my list too EH, currently got some OK M&S and Per Una ones, but would like some a bit nicer too. I do like clothes where the cloth feels nice, it does help you feel nicer if the cloth feels right. Admittedly I'd like to lose a few pounds first, but the exercise routine is helping anyway.

Hera - have PM'd you, maybe the Universe is listening/talking to me after all :).

I get the impresion quite a few of us on here are a bit gobby in real life (in the nicest possible way, and including myself :o), but even we have a side which we don't always reveal for various reasons and MSE in general is great for that. There are also a lot of quiet people who lack confidence & this thread in particular is very supportive. Look forward to seeing your posts :T

Thanks for the encouragement :) It's much appreciated!

    Hera xx
