I have two CD's (on my iPod now) that I play after a sh1tty day at work at full volume to cheer me up and blow the days woes away :D

Very embarrassed to say they are the Soundtrack to the musical Barnum and The Black Dyke Mills doing the music for Ground Force :o But I love them both!

What music do you play to brighten your day?

Probably an age thing, but the first thing that sprang to mind when I saw this was...

    'don't forget your towel'

Apologies to anyone who hasn't read Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.

Not an age thing at all - it is a classic!!!

Hi folks, thanks for welcoming me in!
Just popping in to say that when I went to dig out my copy of The Secret a few weeks ago I realised I actually own two copies of it, so I have one to give away if any of you would like it?
Have been thinking a bit about the 50 day challenge and I think for me one of the main things I’d like to do is join in here and become a regular poster, if you’ll have me? I know this may seem like quite an insignificant thing but I’m not really very confident with things like this...
Also going to read Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy cos I’ve been meaning to for years and have never got around to it.... I have a copy lying around somewhere!

Edit: Sorry folks, spare copy of The Secret has now gone. x

Hera - have PM'd you, maybe the Universe is listening/talking to me after all :).

I get the impresion quite a few of us on here are a bit gobby in real life (in the nicest possible way, and including myself :o), but even we have a side which we don't always reveal for various reasons and MSE in general is great for that. There are also a lot of quiet people who lack confidence & this thread in particular is very supportive. Look forward to seeing your posts :T

Yesterday someone pointed us in the direction of a you-tube "I am what I am" - it was BRILLIANT and cheered me up. :D

I saved the download for Popeye, and last night for various reasons we were both a bit grumpy - and then I remembered and showed him.

    Result :D:D
(he's taking me out for supper tonight :D:D )

    It's my FAVE musical :D

I liked the BBC medley version of 'Perfect Day'.
