I thought yyou had to joing the crosscountry train at crewe...?
I want to be wrong
Is it cheaper to drive/park?
Was trying to think of where else to pick up the train rather than Crewe, no alternative but to go via Chester but was thinking that to go from Liverpool you change at Wigan, so maybe change somewhere else.
What about National Express, or will it take to long.

Err I am roughly 51 and three quarters :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Cheery_Daff wrote: »Ok, if you're more flexible DT it might be easier :j I'm down to £35 for your return trip:
Leave Glasgow at 14.35 (or 15.36) to Warrington Bank Quay = £21.50
Then Warrington to Chester (changing at Crewe) = £23.50
Will check out Saturday morning for you
(will also think on MG re your mantra :j) Nice distraction this evening, my evening got cancelled, Mr Daffs was poorly and grumpy (but has still gone out) and I'm unexpectedly here by myself thinking I should be enjoying myself but actually a big glumSo sorting out other people's train tickets seems rather appealing!
Oh dear! :rotfl:
Now I am confused I make that £45 and I do still need to get back to Bangor I was just suggesting warrington instead of Crewe.

DT - It isn't on a Megabus route at all is it? Train part way, bus the rest?

Cheery_Daff wrote: »Ok DT, just *how* early are you prepared to get up on Saturday morning???
Leave Bangor at 6.01am, change Llandudno Junction and Warrington, arrive in Glasgow 11.03am
Cost? £14
So a total of £49 return, saving £29 on your original price, plus the cost of a night in a hotel. Is it worth getting up at stupid o clock?? (you could sleep on the train!) Only you know...
6am is not a problem just not sure that the other part of the journey is correct from the previous post.

Ok - was just wondering if we could use Club 55 but no which is annoying as to Wigan its £16 return.
But I get £49.50 (I'm guessing the same trains as Cherry Daff) which do go all the way to Bangor - just an early start/late finish

I would be up for that. Need a bit of a focus again to stop work taking over and I have a few things I want doing around the house but most importantly need to make a decision about applying for a promotion! Still got lots of learning to do but is it realistic to do it whilst in the post......... Keep thinking there is no harm in trying.

What I'm trying to do (after a quick lie down and read of "The Secret") is to come up with the words that shift me from "blind panic" that I will not be able to get a nice buzzy full room in Leeds to the place where I can attract all the right people into the room.
So can you help me come up with the effective manifestation mantra?

How about: I had a room containing Mr Big and his trusties eating out of my hand so a room full of people wanting to learn is going to be a cinch :rotfl::j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0
