I think it depends on the times I went with the 13:something train on the Sunday I think the train an hour later is cheaper.2020 Mortgage-Free Wannabes #20 £1495.03/£2760 OP0 -

Is it cheaper to drive/park?0 -
Need your help my friends - as my head is too fuzzy to come up with the right words.
What I'm trying to do (after a quick lie down and read of "The Secret") is to come up with the words that shift me from "blind panic" that I will not be able to get a nice buzzy full room in Leeds to the place where I can attract all the right people into the room.
So can you help me come up with the effective manifestation mantra?

Don't want to drive and my bus is expensive to run so I think it will cost me more and I will be too tired to shop. With regard to the route one site seemed to suggest I could go via chester and warrington bank quay and that made the journey shorter too if that helps I don't mind coming back later on the Sunday. I suppose I could also go early Saturday morning if that was cheaper and that would be one night less for accommodation. I couldn't book earlier because I had to wait until Souk knew her days off.
Thanks for the help so far as I really don't have a clue.

DT - Can I ask how old you are roughly? I can't remember if you've already mentioned it or not.2020 Mortgage-Free Wannabes #20 £1495.03/£2760 OP0 -
Ok, if you're more flexible DT it might be easier :j I'm down to £35 for your return trip:
Leave Glasgow at 14.35 (or 15.36) to Warrington Bank Quay = £21.50
Then Warrington to Chester (changing at Crewe) = £23.50
Will check out Saturday morning for you
(will also think on MG re your mantra :j) Nice distraction this evening, my evening got cancelled, Mr Daffs was poorly and grumpy (but has still gone out) and I'm unexpectedly here by myself thinking I should be enjoying myself but actually a big glumSo sorting out other people's train tickets seems rather appealing!
Oh dear! :rotfl:

I'm a bit of a state really!
But knowing they're triggers is helpful.

Mine are set off by flickering things (Sunlight through tree's is one), clear lights bulbs, Danish Blue Cheese, Dark Chocolate and Fresh Orange Juice. (I have no problems at all with pearl bulbs, any other cheese, milk chocolate or long life OJ.)
The other thing is dehydration.
Very important to find out your triggers and avoid them as much as you can. Migraines are no fun AT ALL

Ok DT, just *how* early are you prepared to get up on Saturday morning???
Leave Bangor at 6.01am, change Llandudno Junction and Warrington, arrive in Glasgow 11.03am
Cost? £14
So a total of £49 return, saving £29 on your original price, plus the cost of a night in a hotel. Is it worth getting up at stupid o clock?? (you could sleep on the train!) Only you know...0
