Hi all, just popping by to send get better soon vibes out there for the poorlies. There are some incredibly nasty virus's out there which are knocking people off their feet for quite a while so please look after yourselves and rest. x :A

Some great news yesterday, my friend who had beat cancer last year, had a hysterectomy yesterday to remove fibroids...well the operation was a success and she is now recovering, however whatever they removed from her weighed 2.2kg apparently...

So just sending out huge gratitude and thanks to the universe for that.

Craftyscholar - do you think you will do more on the self-help course as it is structured? Will you have to produce answers to questions?

DT - *hugs* - sorry can't find the dodgy hug emotie - I am not techie in any way so can't help but wanted to send you some positivity :)

Morning all, have just spent a little while at work chuckling, admiring, scolding (CLAIRE go to the doctor's please!!), agreeing with etc etc.

I've not been firing on all cylinders for a while now and am now "under the doctor" with it all, but here's hoping that I'll get my zoom back today. I'm certainly feeling perkier after reading through this thread, thank you all :):)

    GM everybody,
Morning off today, and what a morning..................!!
Does the universe allow you to ask for things on behalf of other people.........??:cry::cry::cry::cry:

The tears are because my beautiful daughter has just been to visit in a real state. She's just been made redundant.
I know its happening to lots of people but she is devastated.
It isnt just her the company has paid off lots of people (joiners, apprentices, project managers etc).
My girl was an estimator, but had only been there for 10 weeks.
She is well-qualified and i know she'll take any kind of job to keep the money coming in and at the moment, she is already ringing round all the temp agencies to see what kind of stuff is on-going.
She's really upset because this was her dream job and salary and I dont know what to tell her, life can really be a !!!!! sometimes.
This isn't 1 of those things that Mum can just kiss better and.........
Sorry for the rant guys, just needed to get if off my chest.
I just thought maybe, the universe could help, worth a try and you gotta have faith and all that................?

Fantasia, sorry to hear this - your daughter sounds devastated, but she's picked herself right back up and started ringing round - with that kind of determination, hopefully she'll get something really soon. And she knows it wasn't about her work, at least. But its awful, really awful - I haven't checked out the details of the announcement of the cuts today, yet, just off to do that.

    Positive vibes for your DD
