Just for a bit of balance.....

Us less well endowed girlies need decent fitting underwear too. For some reason I don't fit in to M&S Bra's at all. But decent underwear really does make you clothes fit better and make you feel better.

MG - The frenchmen sounded fun.

Mrs Big - Welcome to the madhouse :D

Mike - Sorry to heart about the tooth :(

Claire - Get to the Dr's please NOW

Getting tired and can't think who it is thought they weren't doing very well at keeping up with challenges but has collected 50 shirts for Kit for Kids - That sort of not doing very well would suit me just fine :rotfl:

One of the charities I have contacted has suggested a conference call  But as they got free air freight I have to overcome my fears and do it.......

Apart from "who do I speak to?" and "what is best to say?", what do I need to ask? :o

I was in business for a charity in my 20s, and after a while I made it a rule *never* to go into a meeting without an agenda of my own. So:
    - who would be in on the conference call?
    - can any of the people in on the call help you? With transport, contacts, customs, any odd taxation issues, delivery within the country?
    - if they got free air freight, can they get you free air freight? Would they want anything in return - their name on the boxes, publicity on their website?
    - whats their sense of the agenda for a conference call? Who would run it?

Can't think of anything else right now, Olive, if I do I'll post again.

Sorry about that guys - just ended up with 2 coaching calls back-to-back (someones scheduling has gone awry)

First the good news - look at the signature....... WE ARE OVER A HUNDRED :j:j:j

Mr Big was talking to me today about shifting my focus, taking the helicopter view - moving myself from the state a paralysis of yesterday.

We had this great conversation about Matrix's. How that Matrix's have nodes - the points where lines connect and cross, the points at which all information is collected and distributed from.

He was trying to get me to the point where I begin to think of myself as one of many nodes within our matrix and to begin to appreciate the potential power that we can all tap into.

That bit I am beginning to get - the rest of it was one of those pat your head, rub your tummy kind of conversations:rotfl::rotfl:.

So - first he makes me state my "problem" of yesterday in plain facts. None of the whinging "its unfair" or "they won't help" or "why are they picking on me" stuff.

The Bank won't reduce my monthly repayment of the personal guarantee, I can't pay what they want whilst I'm on benefits, they will start repossession proceedings the first time there is insufficient funds in my account.

    PANTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Q So what does that really mean?
    A I am short £330 per month
Q Only if you stay on benefits?
    A Yes
Q You are off benefits on Monday?
    A Yes
Q So you are working for your boys from Monday?
    A Yes
Q So how many people do you need to train to pay off the Bank?
    A Erm!!!
Q Have you got a calculator?
    A Yes
Q Sigh!!! Can you work it out?
    A Laugh!!! Yes
Q Can you work it out this year?
    A Yes - 44
Q Ok - So is it possible that you could train 44 people in the next year?
    A Yes
Q In the next 6 months
    A Yes
Q In the next 30 days
    A Yes
Q Could you train 44 people tomorrow if you had to?
    A Of course I could

AHA!!!! so your real problem is not the Bank - because you can't do anything about them. Your real problem is that you need to find 44 people to train - and fast - then the bank can kiss your a*s.

:T:T:T Brilliant Mr Big - especially the bit about the kiss.

This man drives me nuts, drives me to distraction, occasionally drives me to drink - but drive me on he does:T.

So reaching out to the Matrix - and hoping that this isn't too big an ask when we are so busy collecting Kits for Kids.

On Saturday 13th of November I want to run a Student Survival Guide training day in (where's the centre of the county - OK, LEEDS)

So the question is "who do you know who would like to come and play?"

If I come up with an information flyer by the end of the week can you guys tap into your networks and help me find 44 people for the event - I will use the event to model the "World Tour", get some video for the website, reveal the new me (If Souk can work her magic in time) and make sure we can kiss the bank bye-bye so that we can go back to focussing on the tops for the kids for Christmas.

Also hoping that we could have a little matrix meet-up on the friday or saturday night too??

I'm hoping its not too big an ask.

    Memorygirl

I'm working my way back through all the posts on this thread to pick out the connections and stuff - as per my coaching call his morning.

I'm so glad Ihave - because now that I have read this again Ihave got some of my zippedy-zip back again.

It is all about the connections we create isn't it?

Back to page 25 I go

Someone should tell Ann Widdecombe about Ample Bosoms. I can hardly believe how the costume department let her go out and perform with the girls dangling round her waist!
Let her? I doubt if they (or anyone) could stop her - or tell her what to do :rotfl:
Although I agree - some decent corsetry would make a lot of difference.

    Clare - doctor tomorrow!

MG - sorry I am still catching up, so bear with me if you have already addressed this - Im a bit slow you know  ..but I know that you are in Cardiff on the 6th Feb. Im just wondering, how are you advertising your whereabouts/events etc?

I live about 25 minutes from Cardiff, just outside Newport and not far from a famous 5 star hotel resort.... whilst Cardiff Uni is huge and you may already have the audience capacity filled, the village that I live in alone has both a massive university and college campus (with lots of other campus buildings within a 20 minute radius) as well as hospital buildings and the likes scattered around.

I know that the hotel does masses of conferences for business users etc.

Are you targeting the surrounding areas and making them aware of the seminars being held? Lots, if not, all of the nearby students and business users move in and out of Cardiff regularly for other purposes.... Its something that lots of them Im sure would be interested in and would consider it worth the trip into Cardiff for. Similarly, the same would apply in other areas of the country too, Im sure.

As for the 'Busty Broads' gap in the market - its not something I have a problem with myself unfortunately - however my ample sister and I have often discussed that there is a lack provision at her end of the scale - and the companies which provide for larger ladies and may have beautiful products, dont provide for those of us and the lower end of the gene pool....

Perhaps this should become my project....once I get myself organised, catch up with the threads and figure out which way is up! :D

    xx

    Good morning,

I had a better nights sleep last night, when I could eventually get, Hello kitty and bra beads out of my head (someone on daily chat wants pink bra earrings lol)

I've woken up this morning, starving with a very stuffy nose and a dry mouth, but I can breathe much better and my ears arn't hurting so much ;) so I think I'm coming to the end of the lurgy :T, the boys have just gone to school so I'm just finishing off a lemsip and I'm going back to bed :)

Before you go to bed phone the Drs. Seriously even if you feel a bit better you need to make sure you are 100%. I know too many people who have ignored a chest infection and ended up far worse. Satisfy us and let us know what the Dr says.
