i enjoy reading the posts from the Labour frothers...

can we blame "the last lot" for the American economic crisis or how about the issues with the Euro. was that "the last lot" too?
No, but we can blame them for the sh*t the public sector are about to experience, plus, the cuts to benefits. They spent the money, they should man up and take the blame.

I would respect them a smidge more if they would do that. But the problem with these dirty socialist F*ckers, is they never admit they were wrong, despite all the social meddling and damage they caused.

Anyone watch BBC2 on Iraq last night? I really appreciated sitting in basrah getting rocketted in 06,07,08 and risking shell shock or worse purely because blair couldnt lose face. Either we should have gone in to Basrah with the safety catch off (does not compute with socialist dogma which I saw blocked our in theatre Rules of engagement) or pulled out completely. Instead we had a socialist government taking squaddies to the high court for doing their job under very difficult conditions, in part caused by restrictions placed on us by namby socialist politicos.

So we are in agreement that Browns reign was a bit of a balls up?

You may be able to buy a cheaper house BUT will you still have a job which will enable you to pay for it?

So lets have a property crash that will solve everything....:j:j

    Put everyone on the dole.............................................:j:j

    Fantastic

Either a crash or a long term slow down is needed, then hopefully we can build an economy on stable foundations the next time.

    Couple of points:

    1. Labour were about as socialist as I am a Martian.
    2. The Conservatives voted for the invasion of Iraq. Hence why they've never really put the boot in over the decision.

Fair point on your experiences, a friend of mine had two tours in Iraq plus at least one in Afghanistan. Fortunately he doesn't seem to froth like you do.

i'm sure that if David Cameron said that boiling kittens alive in a Le Creuset pot was the correct thing to do, you would be the first one agreeing with him and defending his honour.

that would be just after taking off your Barbour jacket and Wellies though.

But canty you see that the effects of the global downturn would have been less severe if we didnt have such a public/private sector imbalance, that we had run a surplus in the good years and had stricter lending limits during the boom years? Effectively like many people who were labelled "crackpots" asked for from 2004 onwards, guys like vince cable and capital economics?

Sorry, I forgot, Gordon had eliminated boom and bust, so no need to save for a rainy day? The fact that he was helping manufacture the largest bust in economic history seems to have been lost on most labour voters it seems.
