Some of the posters on this thread look really silly now.
Are any of them brave enough to admit they were wrong and it was not the start of the big crash?
For any type of cash the figures would have to be 3%+ EVERY month for a good while.
I stopped commenting on monthly figures. If there was going to be a crash you would know about it. I reckon houses will make up the 2% in the coming months and will be back where they started by 2011.
Waste of time people keep posting one days good or bad house price news from the papers.
I bet a few bears must feel humiliated. They really went for broke last month with all the comments.

sibbers m8. last month was up a bit. month before that was down alot, so over-all its down
It's hardly ever so down.
I'm not talking about a % here and there anyway and you know that.
Last month for the bears was the start of their supposed big crash. For that to happen every following month would have had to be negative. They would have rejoiced massive. Instead the markets stagnated. Their plans are scuppered and they have been humiliated because they bigged it up.
It might take a few years but house prices will rise higher than they are now. There will not be any crash for sure. That's the bottom line.0 -
