Debate House Prices
In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non MoneySaving matters are no longer permitted. This includes wider debates about general house prices, the economy and politics. As a result, we have taken the decision to keep this board permanently closed, but it remains viewable for users who may find some useful information in it. Thank you for your understanding.
We'd like to remind Forumites to please avoid political debate on the Forum. This is to keep it a safe and useful space for MoneySaving discussions. Threads that are - or become - political in nature may be removed in line with the Forum’s rules. Thank you for your understanding.

There is defintly a negative trend but this looks too large. I'd expect a fairly high positive number next month to offset some of this.0

Mate if you think that, you need to see a doctor quick
Quick diall 999, tell them what you posted and where, they should be with you quickly.
If you feel you need to post again, wait, think and then find a bank that is solvent:cool:

Look, I fully expect prices to fall over the short to medium term but not at this rate.0 -

There's a small handful of people that have been renting for the last five years waiting for news like this. They'll be jumping for joy today.
Unfortunately this will only serve to fuel their misguided notion that prices are going to fall by 70% and they'll end up in rented for another five years on the back of this.
It's them I feel sorry for. Poor suckers don't know any better. They've already missed the boat paying down the debt at 0.5% base rate for the last 18 months.0 -
Even I'm shocked at that.
Super news though. Looks like those HPC ghouls are right after all. I think every owes them an apology
