Yay! We have some 'keep' money from DS1. He was wondering why the fridge only had jars and a bottle of millk in it.
he was very good and insisted on giving us his usual amount despite having been away at his fiancees in America for 10 days last month.
DA is now on more drugs and seems to have little interest in anything. It is breaking my heart. We are going back this afternoon. DS1's keep has helped us buy more petrol and we will stop at 4ldi on the way home for some 'fridge' food
I have flu jab and asthma review this morning.

We have leek show today. It is a small village club, not serious at all. A bit of fun is how the members describe it. We all have rusty leeks so the judge is going to have a job choosing the best today.
Last year we came 16th out of 18!! Mr P's first year. Won a horrible bottle of brandy. DB won a good phone so we put it in the holiday cottage.he hasn't entered this year beacuse he couldn't afford the fees. Neither could we (£40) but we were able to pay in installments. I printed out some posters, just to be helpful. Was told I am now secretary last Saturday
Mr P dug up the leeks, which he has looked after lovingly this year. Then he went to the allotment to dig up DD's leeks. Hers are no better than oursnot lovingly tended to each day
at least Mr P has now an interest, even if I laugh at him. I have been growing leeks for years and have never looked after them like he has
I came second last time I showed any
I won't mention it to him though.
Today's plan is to do cottage changeover. I will make some biscuits for our guests. DD and Mr P usually do the cottage. DS2 is here to help too. Then benching of leeks and judging. I suggested a raffle. Now I need to take a raffle prize and buy raffle ticketsit won't be a NSD but will hopefully be a lowSD.
DS3 will be home on 21st! It is almost four months since he went away. We are planning a meal with all the family together. I have asked him what he has missed most. Just waiting for his reply...business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

We have had a busy few days and it promises to get busier.
Leek show results We came 11th or 12th I think, wemwon £30 and then we won two bottles of wine and a box of choccies in the raffle plus a few leeks in the auctionWe reckon we have broken even. And it was a fun few hours too.
On Sunday we went to see DA. I took along the clothes I had for her. She refused them all but did confess to needing an elasticated waistband skirt. I found one in M and S but needed to order one her size. The saleswoman said it was okay I could order but needed a debit card. I didn't realise we had to pay there and then. It took us to within £5 of our limit in our current account. Eeek!
Luckily we had the winnings from leek show so we could buy some petrol as today I had a hospital appt for me 25 miles away.
After hospital we went to collect the skirt for DA from M and s and then to the builder's merchant for some paint for the cottage. We had a cancellation so DS2 is going to help us out and do some painting on Thureday. We get so few breaks long enough to decorate.I put the paint on Mr P's account for payment next month. A promised cheque hasn't arrived from people arriving on Saturday. seems to be the way of business right now.
Tomorrow I am going on a short course to learn how to tweet effectively and to gain some advice on websites for 'green' properties. Cost is paid for by the businessit will be a lovely day out with lovely people.it costs just £10 and includes lunch. Mr P is taking me, another 35 miles in the opposite direction from today
And then collect me later. I have no idea what he will do between 11 and 4 but he has chosen not to take part: he doesn't do computers.
Thursday is my dentist appt and Mr P's optician's appt. We had to wait until Thursday so there is some available balance in the account to pay for his new specs. He is in desperate need and if he chooses carefully we can get the cost back from simply health. I can claim back my dentist costs too.
On Friday I am hoping to meet my friends for a swim. By then we will have done 450 miles just to visit DA and appoinments! Who says living in the countryside is cheap?
I will calculate the damage later.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Blimey that's some miles.. yes it's not cheap at all. Don't let anyone pretend otherwise! At least being in town I can simply walk to get a pint of milk..many of my family have to jump in a car ( 5 miles plus tramp across the fields just isn't practical!)MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Back home briefly.
Yesterday was great. I learnt how to use twitter and Pinterest
Mr P went walking but had to give up and sit in the car as the rain was hammering down.
I had an interesting experience yestermorning with my debit card. I put it in thecash machine at the 5par., put in my pin, number, got to the screen which asks do you want balance, balance with cash etc, and it froze, with my card in the machine. Mr P had just filled the car with petrol too so we couldn't use it to pay for petrol either. Luckily he had his business acccount card with him. So I spent his monthly insurance money to pay for the petrol. Phew!
The 5par have nothing to do with the machine but were very kind and phoned the bank for me, who put an out of order screen up.
I only wanted £10 from the business account to pay for the courseLuckily Wednesday is one of the days that the bank is open. So Mr P drove me back up the hill to the bank and they cancelled my card, ordered a new one and let me have £10 cash out too.
Today I have a bill to pay for the business but can't pay it without my card. And I can't pay Mr P's business account back either. His isnsurance is due out on 25th soI have plenty of time.
Today I have been very extravagent and had my eyebrows waxed and a few other face bits done for £10 at our local beauty salon. A bargain, and a lot cheaper than in town.
We are going to visit DA today as it is payday so can buy petrol. I have £332 so must make sure I spend it wisely. The petrol in the city is about 8p per litre cheaper than our local petrol station so we will fill up again today. I think we did 90 miles yesterday to the course and back.
I have a dental appointment later so I rang the hospital and they are going to allow us to go after lunch before visiting time.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Good grief Pooh, busy busy!
We also have a Leek Show in the village every year. We don't grow them but have friends who do so after they have picked what they want to show we are inundated with leeks. I've been putting them in everything!!
Glad the course went well but boo to hungry cashpoints  XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

I am not doing well on the NSDs as I have had to pay for petrol or food every day. I spent money on me yesterday. I bought a cheap belt for £4 in Mr T. I rarely spend anything on me so I boughtit as I really need it. My last jeans belt I bought was 32 years ago!!!
DS2 is home after 5 months awayso I am back to a full compiment of sons. They eat a lot! I am back to me and 4 men
Those who can are helping with costs.
DA is still poorly but she actually talked to me yesterday
I am in hospital today, just as a day case so I will try to catch up later.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527
