Your poor DA.
It just seems to be one thing after another
Remind me how old she is?

I just came on here to update and find my post this morning isn't here:(
We had a bit of an extravagant day yesterday. I spent £8.60 on tea and cake for DS3, DGD and me. Actually we took our own food for DGD and the hotel gave us her milk free. The idea was to showcase a local business for our website. |I couldn't get my camera to workBut we really enjoyed our treat.
We felt the need for something other than hospitalsAnd it did us good.
Mr P was up before me today so a really good sign that he is beginning to feel betterhe then climbed a ladder to fill a hole in our house wall where the roof meets the top of the wall as we had water ingress with the 45 mile an hour winds and driving rain on Sunday night. Tonight we have winds of 45 mph again and driving rain on the wall Mr P has repaired. No water coming in yet. fingers'crossed.
DA has been in and out of A ad E, medical wards and back to mental health ward. I am dizzy trying to keep track of her and the hospital have decided to contact someone else about her health and whereabouts. It is no wonder she is confused.
She is 83 beanielou. She was president of the rugby, tennis and cricket club until last year and was visiting sick and 'old' people in homes util just beginning of September. She is a shadow of her former self, really declining fast. 'Big sigh' from me. I want to help her but every time I go she cries and wants to come home with me. The hospital won't release her to my care.
Last week I went five times and on Thursday forgot her clothes I had washed for her. We went again to see DA and she was back in a medical ward with another UTI. I sat and held her hand again. She didn't know I was there.
We spent £372 on petrol and £270 on food for 3-4 adults during October.
Did I say that DS3 has booked a holiday for Mr P, DS2, him and me?:j:j:j To Lanzagrote. An apartment on the beach. He has booked and paid for it all and he has booked and paid for our flights too. Mr P and I haven't had a holiday this year so really feel the need of a break. We are both getting excited and making plans. He suggested I look for tours I can book online and try to make some savings. I feel sick at thought of leaving DA but have already warned my cousins that they are in charge while I am away. Hoping DB will see her too but he might be looking after my dog.
My other dog is going back to Dgs trst on Friday. I keep blubbing about it. She has bitten someone again, not first time, Mr P left front door open, and our household is not a good place for her ATM. I feel bad but hope she can go and live in a quieter house with no children and no other dogs. My DM gave away five dogs while I was a child and I swore I would never do this but little dog bit DN when she was here from Oz and no one told me as they didn't want to upset me. A local person in the village told me. I have written a few pages of guidance for DTrst about what she likes and doesn't like, her delicate stomach, her fear of strangers, etc.
Mr P has had to have blood tests after an eye test. Hoping his results and mine come back clear before we go away!"!
Today I have done some manic cleaning, and had a NSD
Forgot to say I have been asked to set up a knit and natter group in the village!!! Not sure when or how eek!business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Morning Pooh.
So sorry to hear that your Aunt is still so unwell, Old age can be so cruel.
How lovely of DS3 to book a holiday, Its sounds as though you need the break, I think a burst of sunshine always makes you feel happier and healthier. Go and enjoy yourself you really do deserve some me time.0 -
DA was sittig up in bed and smiling yesterday.
Eating toast and drinking tea.
I am praying she is okay when we are away. We can have internet access in the apartment for a cost. We might pay for it for a hour a day just to keep up with how she is doing. DA did make me laugh yesterday and she joined in. A cardiologist came to do an ECG while I was at the hospital: DA is in A and E again. She wouldn't have it done until DC arrived and said she was always sure DA didn't have a heart. She immediately agreed to have it done. Then she wanted to know who had put things on her walls. She was impressed by the en suite she thinks Mr P fitted for her in the hospital.
We spent another £4.60 on snacks in Mr T petrol station but didn't buy fuel yesterday.
Today we have a really heart wrenching thing to do. We have to take little dog back to dgs trst as she keeps biting people. They are goig to try to find her a quieter home. She is so gorgeous in the house and on the lead with just us. DSs are up to say goodbye
DD was trying to get me to think positively. One less thing for me to worry aboutCheaper kennel fees whe we go away
Can't think of any more ATM. Seems hard hearted.
