I know what you mean re the belt. I always find something to buy for another one of the family and I get left out cos I can "manage".:rotfl:

Hospital wasn't too bad. I had an endoscopy and have hiatus hernia, gastritis oesophogitis etc. New meds started today. Hoping I can get this thing knocked on the head. I really nneed to loose weight as it should help too.


I was going to join SW but have been to see DA instead. Must try to keep on top of things but 3 round triops last week meant eating somethig fast most days.

They are here until DS2 finds a job, probably, or until DS1 gets his fiance visa for America. DS3 is here until January. We need to make the most of them being together before they are all scattered again. DS3 has booked and paid for a holiday for us. It will be a much needed break. It will be DS2 and DS3 and Mr P and me. DS1 can't take any more time off work.

I must go back there as know I am ot following SW properly, still not eating regular meals too. I can't fid my books from when I was a member. I think I must have lent them to someone.

Thank you brizzled. I will try to do as I am told I have not done any sewing for ages. That is my relaxation time. Off to the hospital again in a miute. BUT we have plasterers here finishing off our super insulated hall ceiling. All paid for by DS3 I can leave them here as I trust them completely. They are both past pupils of mine and now family friends too.

I sometimes remember that this is supposed to be a DFW diary. At the moment we are using every available penny to pay for petrol to and from hospital. The boys are all helping too. I will have a quiet day some time soon to look at where we stand fanancially.

Today we have been to see a very poorly DA. She didn't seem to know I was there. I sat and held her hand then after an hour came home. She has another infection.

We found petrol which is 7p a litre cheaper than here:)

I am going daft with my spending. I spent £43 on fuel £5 on sandwiches for Mr P and I and I also bought a mini bag on M4ltesers. I felt the need of some chocolaate after seeing DA today.

The house is just wonderful. The newly plastered hall ceiling is completely sealed against the weather. Stormy conditions will seem so much better now the wind doesn't blow down our hall.
