My bank account feels as though I am due some 'keep' money again. Must look back and see when it was paid last.

I will have to keep posts short. The ew meds have caused Parkinso like shakes of my hands. Going back to GP today, then to see DA.

I have craft club for mental health this morning. I am a helper but feel I need it at the moment :D

Feeling a bit stressed like I am in fight or flight mode but I slept all night last ight.

Youngsters left early yesterday as they have the funeral today. I made Sunday roast and plated it up for them to take with them. They really weren't in the mood for a jolly Sunday dinner with 9 people.

Prayers thought etc please for them this morning. They are just having very close family. It was a bit odd for GF as she had never met me. I gave her a hug and she sobbed on me. I know it is better out than in.

    Yesterday was a NSD :D

But I let DFS and GF have the cottage for free :D So in a roudabout way it was reaslly a spend day.

  • I'm sure you helped them massively just by being there. I hope they have the service they desire today. Xx

I seem to have a knack of losing posts. Probably because the phone rings and I forget to post whatever I have written.

Yesterday was busy. Two last minuts bookings for December, one for January. Short stays but enough now to cover all the cottage bills. So much better than last year. I was having many a sleepless night about it.

Mr P has no work but isn't going out so he is not being seen by people. Going to ask DS1 oe DS3 to put their dad's advert on their car door. It is magnetic and make sure whenever they go in a shop they have his business cards with them.
He could do with some gentle work, no pressure on his hip. But enough to get him out of the house and seeing people. Just hoping he can hang on in this Winter without the depression kicking in again. Black dog is just aroung the corner.

I talked to DB about it and he, who is depressed too, popped round for half an hour last night. :)

DS3 and I went out at 9.30 and popped leaflets in houses in the village about a knit and natter group this afternoon. The village hall has been beautifully refurbished. But is not being used. The person who volunteered to try to find needs in the village heard that I ssked if someone could set up a knit and natter group.

Guess what happened. It was arranged for today. I am going, suddenly realised no one has promoted it, no posters, no money for tea, coffee and boiscuits.

So after babysitting until 7.30 Mr P collected me, I made some 5 minute leaflets. Nothing to be proud of. Then DS3 and I went out at 9.30 and we both put leaflets in letterboxes. In the dark, no street lights and sometimes no letter box to be found. DS3 did a lot to help. I did some easy ones. Or the ones where the 85 year old might have been terrified to see a man on the doorstep. :D shouldn't laugh.

Came home sent messages to cousins I missed this morning, with news of DA. I have a system now. I write an update. Then paste on F book messages, whatsapp and email. Forgot the fbook ones yesterday morning. Could do with them all being together on one.

    NSD yesterday :D

I had to phone Bsrclays yesterday morning as we didn't have enough in business account to pay business loan. I had forgotten that now we have some bookings with Holiday Lettings they pay differently to cottages4you. Cottages4you pay in advance of arrival. The other pays 48 hrs after arrival. Talked for ages to ask for overdraft. Told might get turned down so didn't proceed with credit check.

DS3 put £500 in business account to cover bills and then at 3.30 got text message to say funds had been put into account from Holiday Lettings. :D What a waste of everyones time in the morning OD search etc.
They must pay later in the day than I thought. Just thought payment had gone missing :D

Today knit and natter costs £1per person but I might not pay after all the printing etc.

I suddenly realised we would need tea coffee etc. So I phoned coop as it is a community event designed to glue the village back together a bit. I have been told we can have tea, coffEe and biscuits :D FOC. So pleased we have just £10.60 to our names. Or I would have bought it.

Another great MSE idea. I would have just gone along an bought it in normal circumstances.

I decided to bite the bullet and ask family for financial help towards cost for DA. I asked DS yesterday. She was at work and said when she was home she would put £50 into our account. She said she will put in £50 from DB2 too later today.

I asked about inheritance which has still not arrived. She says they have had the money in the account for months. They, are the four step sisters. But that we should get a share of the interest too.

They are waiting until head stone is in place and paid for. I know that is common practice. We agreed to a bench on sea front for Dad and his wife. They sent a photo and it is all in Welsh and we paid for it :( Makes us all really sad :( the bench was £1500 between us.

They posted stuff to Oz to DB2 and took costs out of estate. They gave me boxes of stuff to send to Oz to DB2 and it is stil here as. We have never had the £100 spare to post it :(

Sorry, that was a long winge and !!!!!. I feel better now :D

If I got £2000 it would change our lives for the better. :)
