I am back. We all had a wonderful time with Mr P's family.

Sadly his sister was ill and brother's bike broke down on the way but ALL the younger generation were there which made it very special for them. It feels as though we ate all weekend..

I fell asleep both yesterday afternoon and on Saturday too. I must have needed it. It is something I never do. I don't usually have nothing to do. :D

We have some babysitting to do this evening and some laundry to catch up on. The house is a bit cold. We were in a centrally heated cottage all weekend. Probably the warmth helped me to relax too.

I have paid for holiday insurance for this week. It was £45 but we both have medical conditions. DS3 says his has cost him £15. Oh to be young :D

    Tomorrow we will visit DA.

Today I am going to go out and buy a swimsuit for my holiday. I bought one for £4 in a discount store about 10 years ago. It is falling apart and definitely would not keep me modest if I jumped in the pool. It is all saggy.:(

DD has persuaded me to go and be measured properly for a decent swimsuit. Mr P is taking me but obviously doesn't know how long it can take to find the right one. When it is one you almost need a mortgage to buy:eek:

I believe I have missed the sales. Why is it we never have any spare cash when the sales are on? :D

Then to see DA. Plan is to pick up her junk mail too so her front door will still open.

Brizzled I was so delighted to hear the good news about DA I wanted to shout it from the roof tops.
While I was away I was asked if they could put a feeding tube down her throat. DU (her brother) had the final decision thankfully, not me. He said to let nature take it's course so I was expecting the worst.

I must tell you what happened to the dog. We left him at a local kennels where he had his agility training. When the woman let him out of his kennel he knocked her down and ran away. They followed and he ran across the fields to DD's and was sitting on her doorstep. he must have realised there was no one there and went back happily and didn't try again. He left DD's the night she had the baby and came to live with us. That was 17 months ago :D I think he was 'Homeward Bound'

No swimsuit. The cheapest one was £139!!!!!!

I don't think I am being mean not buying one. It is almost a month's grocery budget. We went to M and S but they didn't have any swimsuits :(

I am thinking I could buy a swimsuit when I am away. If not I will make do with the saggy one and hope there are not too many people around.

Because we have been to the same island before we know where Lidl is if not the other shops so we can stock up on cheap food and take turns to cook when we are away.

DS3 is out buying me some alloy wheels so I can put some snow tyres on them. This Winter I am going to get out. £50 for four wheels. I willl use two and DD will have the other two.

DSs just asked me to print their travel insurance £10.36 not £15 as I said earlier! Mine is still £45 for Mr P and me and not covering existing conditions:D
