Forward Cellular Have Gone Bust

My son and I both have Vodafone contracts via Forward Cellular. Around lunch time today he received a call which he thought was from Vodafone to ask if he had a Forward contract and whether or not he had received any cash back. The caller said that he was ringing round to determine the extent of the problem. I called the number back to see what was happening and it turns out that the number from which the call came was Phone Logistics. Unfortunately the girl who answered the phone knew nothing about it and did not know from which department the call might have come so declined to put me through to anyone who could help. My son does not remember the callers name so I am waiting to see if I receive a call. Has anyone else had a call, do you know a name or department?0

Charley that sounds a bit strange. We might guess that Phone Logistics sounds like a phone wholesaler/distributor, and could therefore possibly be interested as a creditor.
If they are, I don't see that they have a right to use records to phone customers like this. On the other hand, maybe they have been appointed to some official function, in which case they ought to know the information already.
If I were you, I'd discuss this phone call with the receivers.0 -

I'm in the same boat as you - Vodafone with no cashback received. Had a missed number on my phone and just called it back and the answer message said fone logistics, their websites at:
http://www.fone-logistics.co.uk
Can't think why they'd be calling though. Will see if they call again.

Funny enough, I received a call today at around 2.30pm. The man I spoke to assured me that he was not calling from Vodafone, but were a company appointed by Vodafone to gauge the extent of FC problem and how customers felt about it. He said he was fact finding and already knew about FC problem and asked if I got a phone with my deal etc. Unfortunately I did not get the callers name, but the call came from 01670717717 - Phone Logistics!0

I foned vodafone today and got my tariff changed from anytime 200 to anytime 30, which I suppose was very nice of them
now I get 30 mins free a month instead of 200+free weekend calls. But it is down from £30 to £15 month, only had the contract since december, and I've got 500 free x-net mins from 3 to live with on the other fone.
hopefully it won't upset my position with the liquidation too much0 -
Has anyone heard if anything useful was said at the creditors meeting on 25th?0

you mean no cashback due to me, or none paid, or likely to be, to anyone yet?0 -
You seem to have broken the conditions for receiving any, however much there may (not) be0

Forward Cellular breached the contract first by not completing their side of the deal (sending the refund due as promised).
Once they breached the contract it lost its validity.
alric still remains a creditor.0
