Just be aware that they do ask for ID at Virgin screenings, last two I've attended they asked for ID before they would let me in, and checked it against a list they had. So you would need to have tickets in the name of the person attending for a Virgin screening.0 -
This is the third screening in a row where there has been no Birmingham screening for sky........0

Well, I had tickets for the performance tonight (19th) but then received an email saying my tickets were no longer valid due to a 'dating error'. It didn't state anything about the allocation being reduced - I wonder how they decided who missed out? Unfortunately I couldn't make the 2 suggested dates. I then had an email - last night - as a reminder. Somewhat confusing to say the least. The 'help' email provided an automated response that they would try to respond in 24 hours - not much use! I've read this thread but can see why some people would - without such 'guidance' - simply arrive, thinking they have a valid ticket (which seems incorrect). I decided not to risk it - considering that being 'turned away' would incur 2 distraught children as well as my own car parking costs! I'd be interested to know how things turn out at tonights performance for people who had 'cancelled' tickets, and whether anyone has been refused entry due to all tickets being collected ...0

My screening started on time - 7pm
There was already a queue outside by 6.30 when they started letting us in..... I was very glad I got there early, because...
110% attendance I would estimate - given that there were quite a few groups of people wandering up and down 5 minutes before the start. Even the staff were unable to find them any seats.... and this was in one of the larger screens
They were still hanging around 5 minutes after the film started....but I didn't notice if they ended up sitting on the steps, as I was totally absorbed in the film.
Thoroughly enjoyable film - better than I expected, and good to see Ms Aniston is a slightly different role.
noiy - were you due to see Horrible Bosses?
If so it was probably just as well you didn't go if you have young children, as this wasn't a family film, iyswim. I think it is a 15 certificate
Ms Aniston herself was extremely potty mouthed.... as I say, a slightly different role for her.
Had a very enjoyable evening, not Oscar material, but still a good cheap night out.
Not asked for i.d, but they did collect all the print outs... so maybe they will get to the bottom of why so many turned up and didn't have a seat.0 -
