Free Cinema Tickets - Discussion thread

Can anyone help me out with Captain America tickets. I am not a sky customer but my son is despereate to see this movie. If anyone can help me, let me know.

Can anyone help me out with tickets for Captain America at Castleford? I've gone to a few previews and don't want to miss the chance to attend one so close to home!

Jeez, this isn't the place to request tickets - it's mentioned in the rules posted on the first post!

No actually i did not apply for tickets i got sent an email

All reminders sent by Showff clearly state that they are reminders, they are automated. They are often sent out even when films/events have been cancelled. It happens, I am not here to state why it happens, it just does and has done for years even when Showff were called Seefilmfirst.

It is not an invitation to reissue the tickets that have already been used.

By trying to change the name to get a second set of tickets for a relative, you are defrauding the company.

but its says in the FAQ you can request a name change

Secondly, I have been to the show, I saw it on Friday of last week.

All I can say is just go to the box office now and get the tickets... if u cannot they will not give them to u... Im sure a lot of pple who have applied will not be going... as in the free screenings in the cinemas..
I know wot u mean.. gosh ...wots the fuss over somthing so simple..

I agree big fuss over nothing when i went on friday there was 100s of seats empty because people didnt turn up when you email showfilmfirst about change of name they just sent an automated email which you take with you thats says they have agreed to change the name.

Thank you both - i dont want people thinking i am doing anything wrong

im not going or passing the tickets on now as too late but i didnt know thats what happened - for some reason it wont let me email icatgo so there will be 2 empty seats

I know this isn't a forum for begging but if any Sky customer could get me tickets for Captain America at Stevenage I'd be extremely grateful, and would return the favour when any Virgin screenings come up
