Went to MK this morning to see Mr Poppers Penguins, screen was pretty much full.

Single adult sat next to us obviously didn't like it much, left halfway through. I'm all for seeing free films, but found it a bit odd that anyone without kids would actually want to see a film like that, as it really is child orientated. Nothing wrong with them wanting to, just expressing an opinion really. Is it a case of people go and see whatever films they can for free, whatever the genre?

I find that rather insulting to be honest. I saw the trailer for this film a long time ago on the web and thought it looked fun and have laughed each time I've seen it at the cinema since.

The adults in my audience seemed to enjoy it regardless of whether they had children with them or not.

Isn't comedy for everyone regardless of age? I rue the day that my inner child is no more.

It's first come first served, so you're not totally guaranteed seats. I'd say get there 30 mins - 1 hr before hand and you'll more than likely defs get seats

Take your own drinks and snacks in with you as well. Keep it cheap

I would see it as an adult on my own as I like Jim Carrey films, also go to see Ice Age and Disney films, I enjoy animation and some u films, dosen't make you odd just makes some people judgemental.

An opinion on the film is one thing but not very nice to opine about why fellow previewers are at a film.:(

nobody has to explain to anyone else here why we go to see any of the films we see.
