Free Cinema Tickets - Discussion thread

I went to see Mr Poppers Penguins in Cardiff this morning the screen was packed bar a couple of seats that weren't taken have to say us adults were laughing harder at it than the kids that were there, we all thought it was great fun and would defo recommend it whatever the age

Hi all..I have got 3 tickets for Super 8 for tues at Odeon Greenwich...what time would you recommend me to get there..half an hour or a hour before? never been to odeon cinemas b4...thanks

Dammit!!! Been keeping an eye out for SKY Planet of the Apes tickets for the last 3 days (am a movies customer) - checking several times a day. Go out to the shops this morning and when I comeback they have been released and all for Glasgow have gone - unbelievable!

If anyone gets some and then cancels I'd really appreciate a heads up!

I checked first thing this morning and it wasn't live then, luckily I saw someone post it on HUKD and managed to get my tickets within seconds of them posting.

But why did you feel it necessary to post in Codes Only - No Discussion and send out email alerts to everyone who is subscribed?

Managed to get some Planet of the Apes but missed Captain America... my 4 friends got tickets and are all going to see Captain America, am gutted.

If anyone decides not to go see it in Cardiff, the wife and I would be very grateful for the tickets.

Apologies - have seen other people post before stating when showings are sold out and thought that it was allowed - shall refrain in future!

You and me both!!! I've had the page permanently open on my phone fo over a week - checked it this morning, nothing doing. Got to work and wasn't at my desk for a couple of hours, come back and check my email only to find tickets for Croydon all gone

It would seem the freebies keep missing Lincoln (although Mr Poppers Penguins did come missed tickets grrr) So not only do we have the most expensive Odeon outside of London :eek: we also don't get freebies anymore
Was quite a few at one point but now we are back to travelling to Sheffield if we really want to go to a preview and with the cost of petrol it is sometimes cheaper to wait for the dvd
