  • Yes, you need a printout of the ticket with the barcode on it for a Sky Screening and also ID just in case (Bank card should do).

Super 8 was actually really good. ET's bad !!! half bro comes to play.

Jumpier than I expected but found it quite funny as well (especially the fat kid)

Word of warning to the early leavers...there's practically a separate clip/movie at the end in the credits so quite a few folks had already ran out the door at the end
don't judge me - i already know my flaws
  • Unlikely I know but if anyone has 1 or 2 spare tickets for Captain America at Stevenage I would be extremely grateful to take them off your hands!

SUPER 8 - reasonable storyline, a bit of a kids comedy mystery thriller come sci-fi adventure that can just about adequately entertain someone over 14 years old most of the time.

A young up and coming actress to keep an eye on for future success ......

ELLE FANNING - younger sister of DAKOTA - excellent performance (especially making the movie within the movie) which betrays her age of just 13 - I'd have put her at 16+

I have been trying since yesterday afternoon to book tickets at Leeds Light Vue but see that their old problem of the system hanging right at the end of a transaction has come back again. This is after credit card details have been entered and is a security risk as it encourages customers to repeat the exercise with the same result.

You would have thought that a well used venue like the Vue would have systems in place to put this right but no - no link on their site to report problems and if you try their 0875 service it costs you a fortune to wait in a queue. Why do their providers not have self check systems in place?

I have tried IE and Firefox on two different PC's and and am amazed the management of Vue do not realize what harm they are doing. They are far from the only cinema in the UK!

I now officially hate Sky!!! They have suddenly decided to give free cinema tickets to only Sky Movie subscribers. I appreciate that some of their films they want to save for the people who pay for the extra channels but to suddenly ditch everyone who still pays a load of money each month for Sky, Sky+ or Sky HD totally sucks. Can't wait til my contract with this stupid company is up!

Vast majority of their movie previews have always been for movie subscribers as a Reward. Hence name of scheme - Rewards!

Yes, the sheer audacity of a company deciding how it gives its own free tickets away...

  • Sky showing of Captain America was very oversubscribed at Norwich Odeon! Arrived at about 18.05 and the cinema was totally full, fortunately they were on the ball and offered us another movie so as not to disappoint! So we saw Deathly Hallows part 2 instead!
