If its anything like the Manchester Batman Live showing on the 19th they were oversubscribed so sent emails out to some to cancel and offer a different date, those who didnt get emails were still going

I had th cancelled email but it says they have had to cancel all of them due to fraud/ misuse of tickets by some members. It's a real shame some greedy people have to spoil it for others who genuinely just want a nice family day out.

My husband took the kids to the Newcastle one today and he said the queue was massive and he doubted everyone would get in as it seemed over subscribed - he got there at 10.15 and stood in a queue for 35 minutes ! He didn't get in, as the tickets were in my name and they wouldn't let him in without my ID - kids were hugely disappointed, but my fault for not remembering the ID.

we also went yesterday, and i couldnt beleive how many seat were EMPTY, we didnt get there till about 10:50 and the que was long but i think they must have relised it was too time consuming to check ID as it was after 11 and there was still a que behind us;they delayed the start.
i would go along, you have the tickets in hand so surely they cant allow one in and not the next!
they did however stop 4 young people(teenagers), and i overheard some saying that it was because the tickets were for 2 adults and 2 children, but i was unaware of this, i thought it was just to admit 4 people!
hope you all get in today!

for rise of the planet of the apes screening you can just print out the page from the mails website as the t&c's say

Terms and Conditions: Tickets are subject to availability and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Each reader may claim up to two tickets. Readers who successfully book tickets must present this page with the ticket and have ID available if required. No photocopies of the page will be accepted. The tickets are not for resale. No cash alternative. No late admittance. The cinema reserves the right to refuse admission. In the event of a dispute, the cinema manager’s decision is final. For full terms and conditions visit: It says that you must present this page at the bottom on the maill's website so you can just print out the online page

That's a real shame, the queues were pretty big but as the time got later they seemed to speed up. I think they had an issue printing the tickets.

There were LOADs of seats left, I'd say only just 70% full so such a shame to turn people away.

A good show, not sure I would have paid tho. OHs young nephew loved it tho

I dont think you can print the page, I think those T&Cs are just a copy of that is on the actual newspaper, so when it says 'this page' it means the hard copy newspaper - IMHO
