Hello.
I'm really sorry to hear of what has happened, there truly are some awful people out there - and I can't begin to imagine how you must be feeling.
It looks as though people have been offering some good advice, so not much more to ad.
Just be brave and be proactive and you'll get yourself sorted, as much as you probably want to hide in a hole you might feel better actually getting on with it xx0 -
Keep going missT it may not seem it today, but if you read back you have already sorted quite a few of your hurdles out, and today is not as bad as that first day. Things are sorting themselves out, perhaps not as quick as you would like, but you are in control and will sort them out. Keep Strong and Take Care.

Morning guys
yesterday was a fairly productive day
I rang bank and set up a new account, I will get the details for that soon and then I will get my details at work changed too, and all DD and SO transferred over.
But also when I rang the bank they said that I will be able to close the joint account on my own, without needing his say so, however, they won't close it because he has CAM payments that come
off his card every month and they will
not let me cancel his card because of this. I rang his mam and told her to get in touch with him and tell him to stop messing me around and get this sorted before things get nasty... And low and behold I got a text off him last night saying that he will
sort is out. Still won't reply about the laptop though.
I found out that he has been planning this for quite some time, as I logged into his online banking (wrong I know) and saw transactions on his sole account that supports this.. Such a scumb*g.
But this morning I have woke up with a fresh head and I'm
ready to face the world.. Going out with my mam and dad and nephew today, but before info
that I will call T-mobile and see what they can do
about my contract plan.
Also, I may not have to move back home..
My grandad has alzheimers and is in a home, so my mam has been renting his house out. But the guy who
is living there had not paid any rent for 3months so she said I can move in there if I want to, and I will only have to pay £50 per week rent to her, which goes to pay for my grandad care, so I'm giving something back too.
Plus it's a 3 bedroom house so I will be able to
get a lodger too if I need to
Will keep you updated xxx0 -

Please make absolutely sure that mum has all the proper landlord things in place, like tenancy depoist protected, EPC and gas safety certificate issued before an S21 was issued and has since issued a an S8 notice re rent arrears.
Even if the tenant has agreed to move out, she could be sued if any of this is not done properly. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
Well done Little Miss T! You're doing great - hopefullly it won't be long till you look back on this as just a bad memory.Trying to spend less time on MSE so I can get more done ... it's not going great so far!
Sorry if I don't reply to posts - I'm having MAJOR trouble keeping up these days!

The tenant that is in now is a family friend, and he is moving out soon anyway. I will only be living there short term until
I can find something else, cos I don't really want to be living off my family, I'm too independant for that x0 -
Hi Miss T - so sorry to hear what this 'person' has done to you (could call him a multitude of names, but don't think I can print them here!!).
How did you get to work before he left you? Did you have a car? Has he taken that too? If so, was it on HP and as you said that everything was in your name, then maybe you could stop making the payments and then the car would be taken away. I know this would trash your credit rating, but from what you are saying I am sorry but I think that will happen anyway.
Take care and like others have said, lean on your friends and family for emotional support and keep posting here as the advice you will get on here from the brilliant DFWs will be invaluable (as well as all the cyber hugs you need):grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:When you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. I an totally in awe of you Miss T! You are amazing!! I would be in a heap in the corner if this had happened to me.
I have nothing to add to all the excellent advice you've already had, and you seem to be made of pretty stern stuff, so I have no doubt you will make it.
Whisper*I also quite like TurnaroundSue's suggestion, that sound quite fair to me* But you sound like a bigger person than that in reality.
Good luck, and another hug :grouphug:
