BUT you can get your wages stopped!!! As the company you work for has a duty of care to you as an employee!!! Due to your circumstances I would speak and follow this up with a email/letter to your line manager! As you compnay can send payment ans then retract it the same day so the money technnically shows on your accouunt as an IN and OUT but it was never there!! If you explain that ur X partner may rape! the account and take your money!!

Try it its amazing what these companies can do!! I once got hit for excessive tax and could not pay the mortgage! I spoke to my boss and they transfered agrred sum into my bank that was in before my wages hit!!! SO THEY CAN DO ANY THING THEY WANT!!

Sorry to hear you're still not much further forward miss T. I'm a firm believer in karma....what goes around comes around, and I for one cant wait for that day when you're all financially and emotionally settled and HIS world comes crashing down around him.

I wonder if there are any avenues to go down regarding your legal status - getting something sorted to seperate him from you financially or legally so that he can't mess you around anymore or steal anything else from you.

MIss T could you not set up an automatic transfer of your wages into your new account ? with the bank that is . just a suggestion , but im not sure if bank details appear ont he transfer docs.

I have organized an auto transfer from the joint account, into my sole account, the bank details will show on there but he won't be able to access my sole account in any way. I am just stuck as to what to do about the estate agents. If I dint give them 30 days notice they might take my bond, and I really cannot afford for them to do that. I could stay there but it would be a struggle, so the battle begins all over again

Just a quick update.. I have started packing. I'm back at work tomorrow for 3 days then I have 3days off so I'm hoping to be all
Packed and ready to move out. I will sort all of the bills out when I move out, as the tenency does not run out until 23rd but I'm
Going to get all sorted before then so the estate agent can come and inspect the flat so I can get my bond back.

I also had some good news today, I'm getting a pay rise. It's only £85 per month but it's still good, and will help me alot.

Good for you LMT, I never post up this end as I don't have any advice to give, but I have been reading your wee thread since the beginning, you sound very positive today, and I am glad it seems straightforward for you to move out. Woohoo to the payrise, too!!!

I'm not bothered about the laptop anymore. It's just a thing and can be replaced. When I was taking my things out of storage I found another laptop. It's not as good as mine but it will do so I'm pleased with that. Today has been a god day xx
