Neer done this type of thing before, could someone please let me know what exactly we should be looking for? Is it a three letter word at the end?

The 4th clue-the cr and p room one, could it be to do with the rolling stone Ronnie WOOD running away with a waitress??

Or am I way off the mark?

The final solution is three words. Five letters, five letters and six letters.

The problem with cashhunt is that none of us know if the others are on the right track, or way off the mark.

If you want to get an idea of the sort of cryptic clues that the cashhunt people use, it may help you to have a look at the cashhunt site (link on first post). From their site, you can see previous puzzles and their solutions. Each one is different, but it will give you an idea of the sort of thing they do.

Just thinking aloud here, because my efforts have got me nowhere, but if the creature is dragon, the street does not necessarily have to be Dragon Street. It could be that we are looking for something connected to Dragons, such as George Street, or St George's Street.

Also been pondering about the continue the rhyme bit. Could that mean that the meeting place rhymes with Dragon. So for example, could it be a pub called The Wagon?

Another thing that I have been thinking about for the rhyme bit is Cockney rhyming slang. My thoughts on this puzzle have definately all gone Pete Tong :rotfl:

I'm not sure, why would they direct you to the Street in Petersfield if all we need to take from the clue is Dragon, which really comes from the previous clue? In saying that I'm no further forward. There's a village connected to Petersfield called Sheet which fits in with the rhyme, there's 2 pubs and a church but can't find anything with them. Also tried, Wagon, flagon and got nowhere. and I've tried searching generally for meeting places in the Petersfield area and haven't came up with anything likely. There's also a street just off Dragon Street called Hylton street which made me think of Hilton hotels but they don't quite fit a place to meet and they're too big to be advertising on Cashhunt! Oh and tried looking for poems about Petersfield and couldn't find any

Need to try a new direction but I don't know what yet.

    Tomorrow :)
  • :) Hello everyone.

Ive been looking at 'Wyvern' for Dragon too marg, not sure if it's technically a dragon, but no luck so far!

Its an interesting point you made about everyones train of thought being different. Im rubbish at the overall picture tbh,but like searching and throwing possible clues into the mix for someone with a better ability to see the 'big picture',but im thinking that this might be unhelpful now :( Its the first one ive done really so still observing and trying to be useful :D

Maybe if someone in future can take the lead in posting 'cliff notes' every so often, just to sum up where everyone is? Do you think this would help?

I mentioned in a much earlier post about creature maybe being mythical etc but then dont have the skills to make the links, theres so many great ideas that i end up following several different lines of thought :D

I tried Wyvern too, but got nowhere.

I'm not sure that this idea would help, but see what other people think. The problem is that if one person were to summarise, then that person might miss something that someone else mentioned in passing, because they did not think that it was a good idea. Not only might that person be offended, but also, it might have been the right idea and not carried forward. I suppose anyone could at any point in time post a quick resume of where we are so far and say something on the lines of "my understanding is that so far we have got..."

    What does everyone else think?
  • The wyvern bar, peter street. is part of the manchester hotel. Rhyme could be pete/suite. the hotel is connected to mr rolls n royce meeting, (CR) charles rolls. ?

I know what you mean about different trains of thought, I'd never even heard of a wyvern had too look up wikipedia to see what on earth you were talking about! :o

I don't mind if people want to summarise as we go along sometimes it's quite useful, but as marg says it can be hard to include everything that might end up relevant!

Satin Man - that looks interesting will take a look, I think it's the Midland Hotel in Manchester you mean? Pete/suite of course! That's a good one to try googling.
There's a Rolls Suite that works for cr as you said, not seeing anything that fits the p...
  • Nice x2 :D

I wonder if the P room could be a poker room(casino etc) or a presidential room/suite? maybe
