I think you've mixed up the features of different cards. They are offering a choice of 4 cards/packages. We've been discussing the 0%fee, 0%Balance Transfer card, whilst you've mentioned the 'Lifestyle':rotfl: Premier card, for which you have to pay a fee - different beast altogether.
As was hinted to me

jaydani wrote:has anyone tried this who is an existing card holder? Am a bit confused as to whether you get the preferential rate or not as the wording is a bit contradictory. the website states:
Please note that introductory balance transfer and purchase offers are only available to new Lloyds TSB credit card customers.
If your new credit card application is accepted:
Your existing card account will be closed and replaced by the new card account under the new card terms and conditions.
The balance on your existing card account will be transferred to your new card account.
Important Information
£4.95 monthly fee on Premier Card. 2.5% fee (min £2.50) for balance transfers and cash advances, 2.75% fee for non-sterling transactions. Minimum payment: 2% (min £5) of monthly statement or if it is more, interest and Payment Protection Cover. Typical 15.9% APR variable
Does this mean I get the deal on the new card or not?
I've just spoken to CS who tell me that current card holders can apply for the platinum card, and yes the old card will be closed and the balance transferred to the new card, but you won't get the 9mth 0% deal applied, you will pay standard interest rates.0 -

oh dear. Did they really mean you won't get the 0% deal or you won't get the fee free BT deal? The latter is fine if you can transfer the balance (in a non-BT way?!)
I'm going to phone and try...
Didn't get anywhere - she knew nothing about it.
What number are people phoning?
Second number (internet banking) said to phone card services BUT SAID THAT IT WAS SOON TO BE WITHDRAWN!
Third number (new CCs) said I definitely don't qualify since I have another LTSB CC.0 -

Both! the offer is for new credit card applicants only, current card holders can apply for the platinum card as I said above but won't attract any offers or deals. I called 084560310960 -
Has anyone just opened a current account with lloyd's tsb and and managed to apply and accepted for their fees free platinum card?0
-
This offer has now gone from my online banking - I noticed on the t&c's with my credit agreement that it was only fee free for the first 5,000 applicants so maybe they've reached this now?
I sent back the signed agreement at the weekend, now just need to get through the credit check

You were right JC it has now gone from my online banking. I was hoping that they will keep it a bit longer as I have just opened a current account with them and have also applied for a PO card very recently. I didn't want to risk making an application too soon.
Oh well! you can't have everything can you?0 -
Yep just checked my wifes account (we have a joint account) and its definately finished which makes we extra glad I applied for mine at the end of the week before last. Got my PIN today so card cannot be too far behind. Credit card is now listed on my internet banking although still showing a zero balance - wonder how long it takes for the balance transfer amount to appear (applied during the application)0

I applied Friday night. The offer was removed thereafter. I also applied for the online saver (chance of a free holiday). That offer was removed thereafter.
I hope the fee free BT will still be available once I've filled in the forms - 'tis the only reason I applied for the card.0 -
I received a pin number today, and it's suddenly appeared on my online banking, so I think it's safe to say I have the card, with a £3,000 limit which is fantastic!! Can sort my two cards out now.
Thanks a lot OP."I did then, what I knew then. And when I knew better, I did better"0
