Sorry if this has already been mentioned, but i have just applied for the LloydsTsb 9months 0% fee's free card online, vie my current account.
Dont know if it is available to non Tsb customers.
Nice little earner if you can get it.
It comes up as a special promotion on your'e online account list, along with all the other stuff like car insurance etc.
Good luck ........ there are still some out there !

Thanks for this. My account will only allow £1k credit limit, perhaps for having binned MoreThan and Accucard after the swapover but my wife's account is showing no limit at the moment. I live in hope for a good stooze.0

Oh so happy - Thankyou for pointing this out. I use Lloyds internet banking loads but do tend to ignore any offers without really paying too much attention. I did have 2 months left on my Post Office card at 0% but as this is such a great offer that surely cannot stay around for much longer had to take advantage of it now. Assuming if I bank with them as long as nothing dodgy comes up on my credit check I'm guaranteed the card...0 -
I would imagine the limit its offering you is purely based on the level of custom they have with you - i.e. a current account, any savings accounts, how much money you pay in etc... I don't think they would know about your recent card closures until they do the credit check...although I could be wronga&akay wrote:Thanks for this. I think perhaps you are wrong. My accounts have £3.5k iin credit including savings, held for only 6 months. Wife has £750 held for only 1 week in a current account.0

Ok maybe I am wrong, but how would Lloyds know that you have cancelled 2 cards in recent months unless of course they have already checked your credit record, which I'm not sure they are allowed to do0 -
Thanks a lot for this! I have just been browsing the 0% free article as my long 0% with halifax has just ended!!
I hope I get this card, I cancelled my Lloyds card about 6 weeks ago, eek!"I did then, what I knew then. And when I knew better, I did better"0 -
It's available to any LTSB account holder who does not already have a LTSB credit card subject to credit scoring.(all current account holders will have a monthly score of between 1 and 9 - 1 being the best and 9 well don't bother!).paulus6 wrote:Sorry if this has already been mentioned, but i have just applied for the LloydsTsb 9months 0% fee's free card online, vie my current account.

There is a balance transfer fee though.0 -
The internet shows and showed all my accounts, including current, savings and credit cards, the latter for 3 months until they were recently automatically removed on closure. I am suggesting that the lady, whom I recently read took over this aspect of the company, has targetted what she perceives to be unprofitable customers and this is reflected in their proferred credit limits. My wife, who has no such record in their eyes, has had no automatic limit imposed. I await with interest to see if they will fully transfer her about-to-expire stooze with the A&L card.0

The offer I saw, there was no balance transfer fee if you transferred a balance in the first 6 weeks. It was 2.5% thereafter."I did then, what I knew then. And when I knew better, I did better"0
