Our Platinum card gives you 0% interest on balance transfers for 9 months with, for a limited period, a special offer of no balance transfer fee on transfers made within 6 weeks of account opening, after which there is a 2.5% fee (minimum £2.50) on each individual transfer. Good to hear I have helped a few people on the board with this one.
Just to update everyone, I have recieved my Form, with the Terms And Conditions this morning ( Sat 7/10) .
It is definately 0% 9 months and FEE FREE, before the first six weeks of the transfer. For internet banking customers only though. Have signed and sent mine off forthwith!0 -

I asked for £4500, and it's looking ok so far. Not sure how they judge the credit limit given out, maybe one of the more experienced stoozers on this board might know...........................!0 -
I've banked with Lloyds for over 30yrs. I got the platinum card last week after being offered it on my banking page. The application went through very quickly, replied in 4 days, account opened 6 days later. They gave me £4000.
Take care with the balance transfers though, see my other post on the credit card board. Stick to your guns. They dont appear to know anything about the offer they are making on special promotion of Fee Free for first 6 weeks, and even after I said I'd got it in black and white, and they agreed to do it with no fee, they still charged 2.5%.
When I phoned and complained they said they would refund the fee.
 debt free...yippee :dance:0 -
            Thanks for that info gem4.
I applied on the 4th, in the evening, so hopefully I'll hear back on Monday, fingers crossed! Will definitely watch out for that."I did then, what I knew then. And when I knew better, I did better"0 -
            V interesting.
I've just logged on to LTSB website. Clicked on the 'Apply Online' for credit cards. At the top of the web page it tells you what credit limit they will give you - subject to credit checks
Does anyone know how long the fee free BT offer will last? I have a 12 month 0% Halifax deal that runs out mid Jan. I'd luv to sweet the banks assets and apply in December.0 -

I had a Post Office card that runs out in December, but still went for the Lloyds offer as I cannot possibly see them leaving it on over for that long.0 -
            Hi guys,
Am I right in saying that this card is only available to LTSB current account holders? If that the case how long could you open a current account with them? Can you do it over the internet or by branch?
