Hope you get well soon. Heating is still off but is cold this afternoon, my feet are cold even in my thermal socks...and now it has been said Bristish Gas are putting the prices up tomorrow by 8%(I think)"A government afraid of its citizens is a Democracy. Still off. The bad news is that my new house has a very old boiler and radiators (which is disappointing having moved from a house with brand new everything), but the good news is that this house seems a lot warmer without the need for heating. I'm not entirely sure why, the windows are old and there's no insulation in the walls, but I'm still finding the house maintains a good temperature compared to outside. So, I think this will work out better in the end anyway.0

Heating on and off here - only on for an hour or so when its on, just to keep house from getting too damp.
Have started washing up in cold water - hopefully will save a lot of money - used to do it when camping and dishes actually look cleaner!:A0 -
Still not on here, mostly due to the fact i've bought myself and the kids all in one fleecy romper suits! Don't laugh they are so cozy! Zip up the front, feet and hoods on them and everythingI will save my tesco £1 savings stamps this year! .......so far = £50 (full card#1)

Still off...got in around 2am:eek:
Why? Ken Dodd was on locally but when I came out of the theatre not a taxi to be seen so had to order one specially from my town to come and get me, pouring with rain so pretty drenched when I came in, off to bed now.
It was lovely and warm in theatre, troubles forgotten for almost 5 hours...wish I could have stayed over night, it was how I used to remember the house used to be...oh well...
Hopefully I'll get cosy in bed soon..."A government afraid of its citizens is a Democracy. Citizens afraid of government is tyranny!" ~Thomas Jefferson
