It must be warm because one of my boys is home from uni too and hasn't complained. His room at uni was really hot so I am quite surprised really. His brother is due home later in the week so it will be interesting to see what he says if the heating is still off-which I hope it will be.

Gorgeous day here today. It's going to be a lovely drying day, which is just as well as I have one load out (washed yesterday) one load of bedding, another load of bedding about to finish in the wm, then another load of clothes to do after that!

Although its looking like another beautiful day there was ground frost first thing and the house was definitely on the chilly side. Heating on for an hour for the kids. But hasn't been on in evening for days now. Looked at our gas and electric useage and we are still in credit (£69 for both) Not bad for winter. Hoping it will come down even more over the next few months.
  • my heating been off for a couple of weeks now at the switch only i am allowed in the control box hehe

in last seven days we've only used £2.61 in gas this is good news

heating will stay off now till clocks go back in october by then i hope to of saved enough to cover all the heating costs not like this january pre pay went in then the weather went very cold not had chance to sort costs etc so we were really cold

LETS HOPE IT STAYS WARM BEYOND OCTOBER:)

The last couple of nights I've been putting the heating on about 8pm. I have it on now, as well as my fleece top over my pj's lol. Will be switching it off soon.

I have been quite tempted to turn mine on again too - it has been quite cold up here at night. Luckly (or unluckily), I shut the entire system down when we had that lovely warm spell in March and now the pilot light won't reignite, so until the boiler service is done next month, it will have to stay off, lol!

I am currently wearing: 2 t-shirts, hoodie, scarf, fingerless mittens under a quilt and I am quite cosy.

Heating has been off here since mid March when we had the mild spell.
