Is your heating ON or OFF?

we have no frost here, and no wind still, and its overcast which must be keeping temps up, but it is damp outside. Interestingly no condenstation this morning though.
the sitting room is resally holding the heat from having the wood burner on at the weekend, I can't close the doors, because the cats need to go through the room, but I am keeping them pushed to, and it makes a HUGE difference. Its still warmer here than it was before this last mild spell.0 -

Everything is still off here!
No woodburner, no electric fires, no CH, nothing.
It's about 15deg in here, but the thermostat is now by the computer, which means although it's set to come on at 15, it still shows 16
Getting a bit chilly, but not too bad. A bit of sun would be nice.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -
Still off here (in the south)
I'm surprised that our thermostat hasn't been below 19oC yet0 -
the storage heater in the kitchen is on, which tends to heat up all of downstairs, and we get the fire going if it gets a bit nippy in the evening. We don't heat upstairs though because OH has the window open all night anyway (but I am hoping for an electric blanket for Chrimbo!)
Our greatest weakness lies in giving up; always try just one more time0 -
Had it on for an hour yesterday for the first time as the temp in the house dropped to 15 and I couldn't warm up even with blankets. That was enough to take the chill off. Still off this morning.0

I suppose we've been lucky so far - there were forecasts of snow starting as early as October, but it's been mild up till now. DH was out geocaching on Sunday wearing a t-shirt, and this is a man who normally wears at least 4 layers even in summer!
I might just put the heating on in the evenings from now on, and gradually increase the time as the weather gets colder. It's nearly 18c in the room where I'm sitting so I don't feel the need for it on during the day yet.0 -
Still off here. I'm not cold yet so hoping that I'll get a few more weeks. I still haven't got to dressing gown and blanket on the sofa stage yet so a while to go.0

Ours has been on in the morning and late afternoon, (East Midlands). A few nights we've left it on until we go to bed.
Its been rather damp here over the last few days so I don't think that helps.
Its started to turn abit cooler now. I've got some books to re-arrange up stairs and a book case to move so I should be pretty warm then0
