Mild here this morning, but it was very chilly this morning outside. And in the bedroom. The condensation was not a pretty sight either.
Windows open upstairs and I'm wrapped up in clothes...no lighting that woodburner today.I wonder when the weather will turn?

Still off here, 18 degrees in the flat so no change yet. I have just said to hubby shall we try for December and he agrees.
Unheard of for us to still have it off but it is still mild here.0 -

If you wrap your knickers up in a dry towel and roll them up tight and twist it will remove most of the moisture. They will then dry quicker on an airer. To make sure they are aired wrap them around a hot water bottle
Same goes for tights bras etc.0 -

Ours is off atm but it will definitely be on later, i do have the gas fire on in the living room though
There appears to be a huge dog lying in front of it slowly baking :rotfl:
The plasterer has been today and done the front bedroom so the windows are all open upstairs, later when hubs is home from work he can help me put the door back on (i did try on my own and nearly lost my fingers) and then the windows can be closed and the dehumidifier and the heating will be on. The plaster needs to dry slowly so i can just close the door and leave the machine in there to do its stuff whilst the heating can go on in the other rooms.
The top of one joist seems to be drying out well where we had the leak but i know that there is still a fair amount of water in the ceilings though as the condensation has been terrible. Its a bit of a mess here just now but hopefully in a couple of weeks things will settle down.
The temp is falling fast outside now and the reading is already down to ten degrees, it was 5 this morning when i woke up so i`m expecting similar tomorrow.
Keep warm everyone!
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon0
