We have it on now. Not every day though as we are still gettin reasonable weather.
We had it on this mornin but only for an hour, so not so bad yet.
Even so, when we do have it on, I can hear the meter going 'Ker ching, ker ching!'

Ours is on between 7.30-9am and 7.30-9.30pm, on lowest, just takes the chill off the air and dries towels and sheets (which don't fit on the airer)0

Mines still off and the patio doors are open. Just a slight breeze coming in.0

Thanks peeps :A
The temperatures here are now 20 inside and 13 outside. I think that the 20 is more to do with the candles than the heating though lol
It`s far too warm for the heating to click on and i can`t bear to turn the thermostat up any more. The dehumidifier is working its socks off and i have a washing machine full of towels that i've used to soak water up with.
I shall be opening the windows again in a while to air everything through.
Abwsco - No insurance claim, to mess about with. Just plain old fashioned clearing up. They`d only do what i`m doing with a lot more mess. Sometimes its just better to DIY, besides that i`d be willing to bet that as the ceilings are still up we probably wouldn`t get past the excess.
I'm pleased with the progress so far
DH reckons that the snow in the US will fall as rain here and the temperatures will be really mild, hope he's right

I feel so sorry for you. But really admire your attitude. And thank goodness for the mild turn in the weather this weekend!
So warm last night I ...who spent most of the summer with two duvets on my bed.....kicked the one duvet off and slept with just he top sheet.I'm a little worries about some things in the garden though: things like my californian poppies, many of the seeds that I had hoped would bloom next year have germinated NOW....I hope some haven't and they come back next year, I love them so much, and I don't think I can get these ones again (half price sale from the V and A and these are gorgeaous). My roses are covered in buds which are opening merrily. It will be a shock to everything when the weather changes again.

Heating still off here! In fact OH poked me awake in the middle of night last night to demand that I turn the desk fan on as he was too hot!! I'm not complaining though, it's better on my wallet the longer it stays off.:DDec GC; £208.79/£220
