Shocking weather today here. Dread to think what the wind chill factor is! Heating is on at 20C but I'm impressed with the heat the foil lined radiators are reflecting back into the room-it actually works yay.Pay off all your debts by Christmas 2025 no. 15 £0/69490

I take my DS to play school and most mornings we both arrive in T-shirts, while everyone else is in jumpers and coats.
Soft! The lot of you! :rotfl: (most of you)
You do make me laugh Lotus!
The heating has been on here, for a few hours in the evenings for the last 6-10 days (not all evenings, some have been warmer than others), seeing as the temp took a nosedive recently.
You wouldn't catch me in a T-shirt at the moment!! The winter coat has already come out, and I'm wearing the new scarf I made too
At least the sun is out now! It was raining from about 6am until early afternoon, which led to a very dark morning.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
It is blowing a gale here and horizontal rain and it's 10c. I have just put the heating on now because I can't stand the cold any longer and family will all be in for dinner soon. Ahhhhhhh, it's bliss. Hope I can continue to pay for it.0

Hands up who on here hasn't been out on the lash in their youth in a frontless, backless evening strap and shoes that give you a nosebleed? Golden days.
I was never very good at that. Skimpy dress and top, yes (thank God my taste has improved/matured), but ALWAYS with a long, warm coat.

Oh gosh, I was truly wild as a youngster. Out on the town in a bit of string with pockets, how I didn't die of pneumonia I don't know.
My kids are doing the same stuff now.... lunatics. I can't really do the pot kettle thing though can I?0 -

Beautiful sunny day. BUT its cold @ 13 degrees:mad:......so I had heating on for about hour this morning and probaly have it on after tea time, this place is south facing with most of the rooms at south so today without heating it reached 24 degrees(big bungalow windows)......so at least with the sun out we do get free heat...:D:T0

Still off though I'd probably rather it was on... but with night storage they're pretty rubbish so its debatable how much difference it'd make...On the up
