Still off here, warm even though it is pouring down. Did turn it on for an hour on Sunday to test the radiators as didn't want to find a problem when it is too late.0

Bucketing down this morning but still warm.
I've got all the windows wide open so the house smells lovely and fresh.0 -
Still off here - mild but a bit blustery outside.December GC: £3500

Off and on here as it's STILL raining, mild in the daytime but a bit chilly in the morning and evening.
Glad I got a new dryer coz it's had some hammer the last few days. I would have been lost forever in the laundry mountain without it, or camped out in the launderette for days with a jam butty and a bottle of water.
:rotfl:That made me laugh.Raining here today but have been very lucky for the last few days only had winds good for drying (sorry blueBag:o).Still not cold quite comfortable with a jumper on.0 -
Its not bucketing and fresh here, its breezy and drizzly and dank.
I'm warm enough in a jumper, but my hands are a bit cold.0 -
not yet. thinking about it!0

Still off. I'm hoping the relatively mild weather hangs on to at least the end of the month. Not having to have the heating on until November would help put a dent in the gas bill. (The quarterly bill arrived this morning was only just over the hundred for gas and electric combined so reminding the husband to switch things off and cooking more things in the oven (electric) rather than on the hob (gas) seems to have paid off - I suspect that not have a dishwasher or tumblerdryer help (not that I have room in my shoe box sized kitchen for them anyway.) Result going into the winter with about one and a half months worth of gas/leccy already paid
)
Still need to switch though once current deal runs out (grr £30 lock in fee until April 2012) as I know that I can get it cheaper - current best quote is about £80 per year less, which would be very nice. My challenge for next year is to beat this year's £616 for gas and leccy, and get it below the £600.Unofficial Debt Free Wannabee.

I got our quarterly bill this morning, and also a letter from the MEA telling me that they are putting our monthly DD up from £80 to £140 :eek: We can't switch as there is only one supplier. Out of interest how much does a unit of electricity cost? We pay 15.62p a unit. I'd love to know how that compares to others.0 -
Justamum - the unit price varies. I'm with e0n and this is the tarriff I'm on which is their online saver no.5
