I am really scared about burst pipes this year...:(0 -

Off here and no thought of it being on. I've had the patio doors open all day. We are all sitting in t-shirts right now.
We're reasonably near you, though further south. It's beautiful; we've just been out in the garden with the dog, there's a very bright full moon and it's warm out there. Here in the l/room it's 23c and I've had the doors open all day.
So the gas is fine, it's the electricity we don't seem to be able to get down. Electric cooker, but no tumble drier - it's all dried outside but I do use an extra spin if it's dull and damp weather. Othr than switching off the TV or Pc completely:eek: not sure what else we can do.0 -

Not sure where you are but I'm in South Devon and its the same. Lovely day here after an initial drizzle this morning. Had to close the curtains cause the lounge was getting too hot in the sun!!2012 wins approx £11,000 including 5k to spend on a holiday :j0 -

Thats the thing.
I try to keep my heating off as long as possible not to save money(although that nice)but because I just can't stand it.
I find it very uncomfortable to be honest.
I like the windows open and fresh air much better than the heating which just makes me feel lethargic and grumpy.
I much prefer wrapping up through the day while I'm busy and using a heated throw while sitting of an evening.
Just can't live in a heated bubble all winter.0
