That looks very interesting. It should come in useful if/when we get our own house (hopefully in the not too distant future)

A nice day here in Wiltshire,no need to even think about heat.
  • Lovely day here, decided to test the central heating today as the installer advised to test it before the weather became cooler - it was only installed in March so this is all new to us. Daughter very unimpressed, found her boiling hot with the windows open, had forgotten her rad was on 5:eek:. Needles to say it was turned off pretty quickly.

i live in turkey which is in the northern hemisphere! the windows are open because the painters are completing 2 weeks of painting the entire house. i am still wearing shorts to work and the days are sunny however the temperature will drop to 17 dayt and 7 at night so i will think about putting the heating on because the contrast of now and then can be quite striking.--i always suffer a stinker of an autumn cold and cant afford to be off work!

get well Kitty--i am sure i will join you in the sick bed!! no matter the climate its the sudden drop in temperatures that causes these illnesses. i workin a school and as the temperatures drop the drafts that get in cause me to get unwell--its best to snuggle up and keep of even temperature until the spring!-i like where i live because in the middle of winter i get oranges falling from my trees and it makes winter tolerable!
