Shoving ones head above the parapet - it is on and was on last night for three hours. Just of the opinion if it is for a short time in the evening it takes the 'edge' off it a bit!Cat, Dogs and the Horses are our fag and beer money

We had 20 degrees again today, sunny , with a little wind, havent had rain for weeks so theres no damp feeling about, dont need heating on with these temps, plus the nights are still very warm.......0

Same here - 20+ degrees today! At least the wind has helped with drying the clothes. I set myself a challenge every year to see how long I can put off using the tumble dryer too. With days like these, I should be getting into 2012. No heating on here xBuy nothing for a month challenge - Oct

Off and on here as it's STILL raining, mild in the daytime but a bit chilly in the morning and evening.
Glad I got a new dryer coz it's had some hammer the last few days. I would have been lost forever in the laundry mountain without it, or camped out in the launderette for days with a jam butty and a bottle of water.0 -
Have managed to get put of my cosy warm bed when the alarm went off this morning, and feel brr! Resist the temptation by making hot chocolate and wearing my fleecy dressing gown. My shower can wait till tonight though, when the house is warmer or the heating would be on. One of my plans for next winter is to get stand alone heating for the bathroom, so I can give that a burst of warmth without heating all the bedrooms or constantly turning the radiators on & off.0
