  • Central heating is still off...but we've had to resort to putting the electric rad in the bathroom on for a few hours a day just to take the edge off. Main heating is staying off as long as we can possibly manage it!

    Still off here today :D

Outside the temp is 17 degrees and inside its 18.

Its very windy once again but i went down the garden to empty some peelings into the composter a while ago and the wind feels quite warm, very string and blustery but with no bite to it IYKWIM.

Decided to take the dogs to the New Forest for a day out this morning,it was drizzly and dull when we left and the same when we returned. The New forest was lovley warm and sunny, really nice.Living room still 20c so still off.
  • OFF, although if the choice were hubbies it would be on. For most of us able bodied people the choice is extra layers (in hubbies case just a pair of socks would help!)

I understand that for some this is not such an easy choice.

It's still not to bad here in Wiltshire,my living room is showing 20.Oh is sitting in a t-shirt while i have a jumper. The heating is off and going to stay off as long as poss.

where we are in Wilts it was 14 two days ago in the house, 15 yesterday but 17 today. :)

I have a new themometre for the house and I'm reading it all the time. I look forward to seeing what ''normal'' temperature variance is too. I mean 18 sounds balmy if its that all the time, but less so if it only hits it for half an hour in the afternoon, where as 14 sounds freezing, bt the temperature rose, with no heating, by three degrees over the afternoon in that room.

I will say the weather feels a lot colder than it is here today. The air is damp and its quite still, but it feels cold.

My hubby is exactly the same, will sit in a tshirt, complains its cold and puts the heating on! I will be wrapped up in 3 jumpers and a blanket and refuse to have it on!!
