Is your heating ON or OFF?

Off here in Nottingham still but it was a bit nippy last night. My bedroom window was closed on Thursday night for the first time since spring
. Will be keeping warm this weekend sorting packing out for a trip and also packing for house move in (hopefully) November, dependent on how quick the solicitors move. I might make it a challenge not to have it on before I move! And I'm moving to a new build flat so there should be a vast improvement in heating bills
I've got a friend coming to visit at the end of October for 2 days, I think I may have to stick the heating on then but we'll see how it goes."Does it spark joy?" - Marie Kondo

Heating's still off here, flannelette sheets on all the beds now & DS1 & I have been wearing jumpers. DS2 hasn't been wearing pyjamas, but when I took him to the loo before I went to bed, his shoulders & torso were chilly. Put a pj top on him when I rolled him back into bed, & he was warm on his top half when he got in my bed this morning, but his feet were cold. Would probably help if he wore his slippers...0

I am sorely tempted to put the heating on tonight... but I am just being pathetic. I am still aiming to keep it off until at least November... and maybe even to mid Dec....Man plans and God laughs...Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.0

We had it on briefly last night just to check that it is still working - don't want to really need it and find out there is a problem!Silence is golden...unless you have a toddler. In that case silence is very, very suspicious!0
