Is your heating ON or OFF?

Just last weekend I had the fan on cooling down at the weekend and had to hide from the midday sun! Tonight the heating is on (only for a couple of hours) and I am getting the halogen heaters/fan heaters ready to take the chill off individual rooms so the central heating only has to be on long enough to air the house through and heat up the water.I believe in the freedom of spinach and the right to arm bears.

It would help the condensation problem and the mould if you can afford a little more heating. 15c is really very low.
The risk of strokes and heart attacks are increased below 16c, the ideal temperature for health in a living room is 18-21c. Maybe you could try to raise the temperature of the room you are in a few degrees without going overboard.
However I don't know your situation and sometimes what would be best isn't possible. We all have to do what we can with what we have sadly.
Hi bluebag, it's only recently been 15 it was beautiful weather here a week ago t-shirt weather:). Our "Scottish Power" temp chart was reading "Danger of hypothermia take action now" downstairs way back in Jan/Feb this year, I used to leave heating on all night but it was so expensive there's no way I'd do that now also the boiler is really noisy we wouldn't get a wink of sleep. I pay my gas/elec monthly and appear to be in credit which is a first, so I'm saving this for the really bad weather. I also hate lining the pockets of these greedy utility companies it makes me:mad: It is a very good idea just to heat a few rooms though, so I'll be turning off the radiators in other parts of the house again, hubbys game console heats the room up tooI love this place :j:T:j0 -
