For the little money it will cost just to flick the heating on for half hour to take the chill off, its got to be worth it surely? You don't have to go mad with heating but definately nobody should feel guilty for putting it on!!

    Be warm peeps :D

Well we were bad last night - had both been out all day and couldn't be bothered with log fires so put the central heating on. It is now on timer and has been on again tonight. As soon as OH comes in I'll get him to light the log fire in the living room (I can never do that one for some reason).

    In West Midlands

It was 14 degrees inside this afternoon - I put the thermostat on to 15 at about 7 ish for about 1/2 an hour just to take the chill off. Have got 6 church candles lit in living room...........nice and cosy:)

Still off here in Aberdeen. 18.5 degrees in our living room. Getting new double glazing before Christmas so that should help.

  • I've caved in. It's now 14c in the living room, and put the heating on for 30 mins to get it up to 18c. My washing isn't drying, and I'm full of a cold
