Someone tell me this is wrong.... Thats like hurricane winds

In fact, its a lot greater than hurricane wind speeds I think. I used to live somewhere where we had a lot of hurricanes and 120 mph is pretty strong, and under a hundred miles an hour is serious news here in UK It must be an error.:D

Its absolutely gotta be wrong! If its not i`m not leaving the house :D

Seriously i expect it to be a mistake and it`ll be corrected - by tomorrow probably.

DH has taken the dogs out for a walk to warm up :D He told me before he went that he`d noticed that when we breathe out he can see our breath :D it`ll seem warmer to him when he comes back and the doggies have covers to go over the tops of their beds so they`ll be fine.

Planning on starting the GC again soon :p

If its right you WILL probably be leaving the house.....in a gust of wind:rotfl:or the house might get up and fly off on its own...either way, few of us will be staying put
  • I'm really feeling the cold today. They haven't put the heating on at work yet and its freezing in my office. I didn't take enough jumpers in so just got colder and colder. Heating is on at home now early morning and evening and the windows have be closed properly tonight.

Just need to train the boys now to shut the interior doors ;)
This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
    Fingers crossed x

i've never seen that weather site before - fascinating! well, i looked at it and it said very cold and i'm sure it was snow on wednesday night ....

then i looked at it again 15 mins later and whilst its still cold ( sorry, can't remember what! ) its not as cold!

i think the winds had changed too, but i can't remember! ( i'm a bear with very little brain! )

our heating is still off. children wearing fleecy pjs and bedsocks, i wore my dressing gown last night in bed. problem is our house is open plan downstairs, so no doors to shut out the cold! plus DH opened up the old fireplace - its lovely, but the old one i could cover to stop drafts, this one has no mantle to hang anything from! thisnk DH will be making something to cover it this weekend!

we do use the fireplace, but generally only at weekends!

Have put mine on timed today. Crushingly chilling here. It's not going on on warmer days though, only to stop us both getting ill (lung problems)

Had to succumb today, it was really cold. I refuse to try to live in a freezing house.
