On for the first time in our little house. Just 15mins was enough to take the chill off.0

I was up at 6am. Eating my brekkie... and the thought crossed my mind "gosh it's mild this morning". Then I heard an odd noise from my radiator, and realised my heating was on. It didn't stay on long, but I'm happy for it to come on when the temperature dips below my comfort zone. (it's set at 18.5 C for "breakfast time")
Looks like the next few days will be quite chilly, so my heating will probably come on every day now (even if only for a few minutes) until May.retirement savings target: £100,000 by 2032 start: £21200 Jun 22, Jun 23:0 -
Ours is still off :j
it got pretty cold last night, 2 degrees outside and the ice warning was flashing on the weather station display.
Its now 9 degrees outside and 15 inside but its staying off. I was grateful for my fleecy dressing gown whilst watching telly last night though.
If nothing drastic happens we should be ok until November. I remember working out the gas usage last year and it was costing about a fiver a day for gas when the heating was on
Hope we have a much milder winter this year.
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon0 -
Still off here, although my weather station says it dipped to just 0.4deg outside last night (it wasn't forecast to be that low), and the temperature dropped in the kitchen to 15deg.
My OH hasn't complained just yet so it staying off! I'm sure we lasted out until November last year, so that's the target, although it seems colder earlier on this year - that doesn't bode well for the winter.0 -
Heating went on a few times over the weekend and we are now back on the timer in the evening, we havent put the electric underblanket on yet but will be doing if the nights are getting colder. well at least this winter and last we have had new windows that dont blow a gail force wind in! so guess that will be saving a bit on the heating!0

Still off! But we were out in a nice warm pub last night!
Round my mum's after work, so won't need it on tonight either. I'll probably tell her to put her gas fire on though! :rotfl:

Ours is still off, but it's definitely getting chillier. It's 11.5c outside and 16.6c where I'm sitting.0
