I have a dressing gown if there is a domestic emergency. If I am 'up and about' I would never wear pjs if I had any, I always get dressed:)
I wanted a thermostat but the house is awkwardly shaped so I wouldnt know where to put it.Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

I really cannot stand the central heating on unless really cold as my son & I are both asthmatic. Not had it on so far, & don't plan to far a while yet.Now thanks to Tommix & Queen Bear, now Lady Westy of Woodpecker0

I rather get out the large fleece blanket we have and hibernate under it!" Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start now and make a brand new ending. "0

Who can afford to put heating on if you use oil for heating?0

Not on here yet. I was cold the other afternoon but resisted as I was going to be puttting the oven on for tea about an hour later and knew it would get too hot. Am sat typing in my nighty at the mo and am baked. I guess it just must be mild here as this house is rubbish at retaining heat.
We had the loft reinsulated last year and have to say did not notice any difference!
Was hoping to hold out until end of month so hoping mild spell holds out but neing home with girls during the day I think this year it will be putting fleeces etc on rather than the heating, especially as my payment has gone up to £60 and we have a debit balance of £165:eek:0 -
Had it on here for an hour this morning.
Just to take the nip off, bit chilly.
Mid terrace but no double glazing!!
In the winter am sure the neighbours dont put theirs on, my house gets so cold!!0 -
Oh woe is me!! I feel the urge!!!
I`ll have to give it (the heating of course) a test drive this evening.
I have just hung the very heavy door curtain and I have arm ache, as the portiere has some very awkward metal hooks to attach the curtain, which I made from two layers of heavy tapestry. It`s a black base with gold, rose and green and looks nice
The bedroom will remain cold but the ensuite rad will be on low. Oh I`ll be honest and what I mean is that I have succumbed and have switched the ch on as from 10 minutes ago. It`s the washing really, it takes too long too dry without some heat in the house0 -
still not on here in Southend!
